Oil leak from mystery bolt
Hi folks Apologies if this has already been posted.... I have an oil leak from a mystery bolt, which appears to be on the lower timing case (red arrowed in two attached pics). I reckon it's probably a simple gasket change but I don't want to crack the bolt without knowing what its for, especially if...

M30 B34 low oil pressure - engine out!
Hi folks Not been here for a while so apologies if I've missed this recently. My oil pressure light has been gradually taking longer to go out on initial start, sometimes up to 10 seconds. Accordingly I've not used it for a while & a trusted friend who owns a small engine shop wants to pull the ...

Sorted - think a PO may have bent the plate next to the gear lever where the cable sheath anchors to the car meaning the inner cable then presented to the termination on the gear lever at an odd angle. A dogleg in the cable may have seemed like a good idea at the time where getting the angle of the ...

Ahhh, slight buggeration: New cable arrived but its straight - old one has a dogleg! About an inch from the cable terminus at the gear lever end is a 120 degree bend in the solid cable, I presume to position it correctly to enter the cable outer sheath which is bolted to the car, ie has no flex. If ...

Auto transmission / gear selector snag - GOT NO GO MAN!
Hi folks

Valuation for insurance renewal
Hey folks My insurance company (Footman James in UK) is asking for verification of my car's worth via "car club official / restorer / valuer / specialist dealer". I live in North Scotland wihich makes things a bit harder, any ideas? Anyone know of someone in that bracket that'd proffer a p...
