Re: Are Values Up?

Had a 1985 635CSi with the "M" options. IIRC in 1985 there was no M635 but only a 635 with one or more of the M options. Badges, steering wheel, something else, and the best option - the limited-slip differential.

Looks like the welds failed for one reason or another (rather than rust damage) so re-welding should not be a problem. Make sure that the areas to be welded are very clean and that you have someone experienced do the welding. Adding a few braces to spread the load over this weak area is worth doing ...

The voice of embarrassed experience forces me to ask. Are you sure that the bracket came off of THAT car?
Else: look for an area with similar gunk on it (a slow, persistent oil leak helps with this)
Best of luck,

I wonder how much heat would be absorbed in traffic with a black intake manifold. Probably not a lot but combined with the superior aesthetics of silver (or nicely polished aluminium?)

Nicely surprised at how well that wheel looks on that interior, exterior, chrome trimmed colour combination. Like a tailored suit. The black centers compliment the rest of the car in just the right balance.

My experience was in British Columbia in the 70's. Unless you've been retired over 40 years I bow to your expertise. Trivia: World-wide the animal that kills the most humans is the tse-tse fly which carries malaria etc. In North America the number one killer is the white tail deer. Just full of gene...

Exactly! Interesting bit of trivia: If you hit and kill a deer, moose or whatever you cannot legally take the meat. Anyone else can help themselves. I assume this is to discourage people from hunting with their vehicles - a common problem in political circles!??? Who thinks this stuff up? Dick P.S. ...

The performance of the bike is even more remarkable if you consider the weight of all those horseshoes he has up his butt. Good thing that his brother wasn't coming the other way.

Actually, they look a bit young. A bull with full antlers is an imposing sight if you get past the face only a mother could love. In the spring they like to lick the salt residue from the sides of roads and highways. Hitting one at speed will total the car as it comes through the car. Kind of hard o...

Consider them sold. I'm in Canada so FedEx is probably the easiest. Or UPS does cross-border easily, too. I'll cover the cost of shipping, just let me know how you prefer being paid.
