Re: E24 6-Series Register

Why make life difficult seeking BMW approval?, you will have all the crap thrown at you and a list of requirements that would choke a horse. I have been running the 02 register for umteen years just by having an e-mail mailing list. All communications are via e-mail. I organise and provide informati...

Re: Original coachline colour chart.

Hi,
I'm from 'Downunder' (Australia).
I would like to know if there is a company who supplies these pin stripes as a package or does one have to search the available pinstripes and find the best.
Thanks to Rhanley for the info supplied.
Doug.

WTB Recaro Electric Seats Loom

Hi, Looking for the electric wiring loom that goes from the driver's and passenger's seat to the centre switches. I don't need the switches but if you have them I'll consider taking them also. I am from dowunder (Australia) so will need some extra effort from any overseas supplier to post them to me...

Re: M635csi Black Leather Interior - Part Out

Hi, I am after the looms that run from the front seats to the central control switches on both sides.ie drivers and passengers side. If you can supply would you be prepared to send them to Australia, all postage expenses and effort would be to my account. This is for a very special project on a 2002...

Hi, I had a similar problem and was certain it was fuel until i had checked everything and nothing else to check on the fuel side. When I started checking the ignition I found that the rotor button arm had 'corroded' yes corroded or chemically broken down. Once i replaced that everything was fine.

Hi Guys, For your information I have been running an 02 register here in Victoria which has registrants from all over Australia, mainly Vic but not limited to this State. I should add here that I also own a pretty good example of a '6'. The 02 register rule are very simple, and I think this has allo...

Cruise control/speedo problem.

Brad, The first thing I would do is take out the speedo PCB and rerun all the solder joints on the board. Please excuse if I'm telling you something you already know but rerunning the solder requires you to have a good electronics soldering iron and just melt the solder at each point. I had a simila...

Hi Guys, All of you, thank you for your company, it is a long time since I was in real 'enthusiast' company and I really felt the association in spite my years. I do have to apologise for not leading the Sunday run, somehow communications fell apart and I over ran you at Euroa, it was a shame as the...

Guys, I have been trying to put some flesh on the proposed Sunday run. I'm sorry I have to do it this way but I find it the surest and safest. Go to :-http://www.visitvictoria.com/displayobject.cfm/objectid.0000B41D-D36D-1A88-8B4680C476A9047C/ and punch into the appropriate boxes: Echuca-shepparton-...

Hi Guys, 1. I am only proposing a possible run for Sunday. The saturday run is fine. Bendigo is a great place to gather. I don't wish to bore you but I lived there also, I started my engineering studies there and my family all came from that district 2. Have a look at the map, any map, and you will ...

Hi guys, Yes me again, to answer the $64 question 02andsix.!! I have had two afflictions in life that I know of, there are possibly many more that I am ignorant of, however I have been consumed by the BMW marque since 1970 when I bought a brand new 2002. When I saw an E24 six for the first time, I s...

Hi Guys, Its me agian, I have been trying to give you some idea of what I have been talking about in my last dispatch. I can't get a handle on a good map to show you the run from Strathbogie back to Euroa, it is a remote spot but that gives the opportunity a little or no traffic. The road may be uns...

Hi guys, The track from Euroa to Strathbogie is sealed, not a wide strip but plenty to test your skills, lets face it this is not Europe, if you really want to enjoy the day, after you have stuffed up all your entry points on the way up to Strathbogie, why not do a loop and go down via MacQuinns bac...
