Re: looking for several parts

Thank you for getting back to me. I am waiting for a friend who might have the parts also. He is looking thru his "stash". Please allow me to get back to you in a day or so. I understand if someone else offers to purchase before I get back to you.

84 633 CSi

I have been a member of this board for many years. I have always received good information and suggestions from other members. I am sure others have faced this same question. I have owned my 84 Burgundrot 633 for almost 13 yrs. Over than time I have given her all kinds of attention. Some of you may ...

Re: Sad News, Dean Cains

So sorry to hear about Dean. I had a number of phone conversations with him over the last few years. We tried on several occasions to get together and meet. We even tried to set up a local Florida drive. Unfortunately his medical condition never allowed us to actually get together. He was very gener...

Re: Finally got my 6er up and running!

Yes I am planning on attending. Don't think I will be taking my 6'er because A/C does not blow cold enough. I'll take either the Euro 7 series or maybe the 2002 540i.

You can call me at 954-294-1432 to talk if you like.

Re: Finally got my 6er up and running!

I also would like to apologise for any involvement I might have caused by hijacking the thread. My only intention was to make clear that the wheels on JC's car were not metric.

I have the same wheels on my 84.

Sorry for causing problems.

Re: Finally got my 6er up and running!

I know I am getting old but to my looking at the picture you posted and my memory none of the metric rims had the polished lips and the grommets. I think the rims on your car are style 5 rims or maybe BBS RS rims. Both of which take regular size 17" or 16" tires.

Re: What diameter wheels are you running on your E24?

I have had a number of combinations of 15" 16" and 17". I presently have a set of restored 3 piece BBS RS wheels. Of all the wheels I have used these and the 16" style 5 basketweaves from an E 38 rode the best. I recently had a set of 17" style 66 M Pars with spacers and hub...

Re: Proud new owner

I realize this is an older thread but I just took notice of the M Pars on your 6'er. I have an 84 633CSi. I had a number of wheel combinations on this car over the last 9 years. Recently I swapped out a set of style 66 M Pars from an E 39. I used 8mm spacers in the front and 10mm spacer in the rear ...

What a great job you have done to restore the car. Love the E 30 as well. The wheels are very nicely done also. I have very similar wheels but I chose to go with the gold rivets instead of the chrome. I noticed you are in Tampa. I live in Trinity. Are you a BMW CCA member? Would love to see the car ...
