Re: Italy road trip story

Hi Bob, I did see the re released the Bremem. Nice unit, but I am attached to my old Berlin and would really like to put it back in use once again. It is a conversation starter and correct to the period. I am hoping to see a photo or two of motorhead's Berlin in a sixer. I am afraid my installation...

Re: WTB: boot sill cover

Unfortunately not. They are on back order and have been for years. The price quoted by BMW in the UK is £45 if/when they ever do come in stock again.

Italy road trip story

This time last year we were setting off from the UK to the Italian lakes in my M635CSi. We had a wonderful trip but it’s so sad to see how that area was devastated by COVID-19 and how many of us are now locked down. I wrote the trip up and it was published in BMW Car magazine last year... on the ann...

WTB: boot sill cover

Does anyone have this part available: #15 in picture and part number 51471935567? It’s the plastic boot sill cover that is often damaged. I’m in UK. Thanks

What a wonderful car. Glad its gone to someone on the forum. I used to own a similar 1980 manual 635CSi, I sold it in 2009 when it had done only 19,800 miles. It was in perfect condition having been in a Manchester stockbrokers collection for years. It was gold colour, full BMW service history, orig...

Try German eBay. Although a differnet name, this one looks the same:

M6 not M635CSi
Dinan
Muffler not silencer

I'm guessing USA, so that narrows it down!

Yup, green one was in an article in Classic Car magazine (and on cover) last month and is reviewed as a car on sale this month in same mag. Even the mag concludes that £24,995 is too much as it has faults.

I used to own this car although it looks like its had a very good detail or a respray since then. Its a Motorsport Edition (one of 10 in misano red) but still looks an optimisic price for the mileage and history.

If anyone is interested in it drop me a PM and I'll tell you some of its history.

Car bra for sale

I have for sale a car bra that I bought for my Euro highline M6. However, the bra is designed for the more fulsome, in the bumper department, US cars. As you can see, its a little big for the Euro cars. It’s a Colgan Custom car bra in good condition (no rips or tears or anything like that). I’m ...

M6 ECU on German eBay

My M6 developed intermittent no start problems last year. After checking and replacing all kinds of things I ended up swapping the ECU for a spare I had. It solved the problem immediately and Brucey then fixed the troublesome ECU (Thanks Brucey). M6 ECUs are ?1500 from BMW and it?s well worth having...

Retro fitting this would be an interesting project. It looks like its all there but you'd still need to run the pipes to the unit. http://www.ebay.de/itm/BMW-6-serie-E24-M635csi-M6-L6-635csi-A-C-console-Centre-console-Kuhler-M-technik-/281139829058?pt=DE_Autoteile&fits=Make%3ABMW%7CType%3AM+635+...

Expensive low mileage M6 for sale (UK)

This looks very nice.

I thought leather was standard so were the cloth seats a no cost option?
