WTB: MTech Rear Spoiler Mounting Template
As the title says I'm looking for an original mounting Template for a factory MTech rear spoiler. I assume they were shipped with them from the factory? I had an NOS early European foam spoiler that I never mounted but it came with a template so I'm assuming the MTech did as well. Lemme know whatcha...

As in the M-techs? They seem hard to find Try the Ireland Engineering. They are supposedly a copy of the NLA Dinan springs. I just installed them on my 87 E24 and am quite happy with the drop. i forgot to measure  but I'd say its 1/2-3/4" at most. It might be slightly more if your stock ...

If you have no way to edit your pictures, you could post them to a photo-sharing site and provide a link. I edited them for you and repost them here....because I wanted to see them without scrolling all over, and, holy cow those things were huge! Thanks! Yeah I have them on Flickr in an album as we...

FS: Racing Dynamics Front Spoiler w/ Fog Lights
This is the fiberglass spoiler made by Racing Dynamics for the E24 I had it on my 87 and it fit with no issues. It is currently Cinnabar Red. There is a large crack on the passenger side but should be easily fixed and reinforced on the back side. All the brackets and hangers are there as far as I kno...

For Sale: Excellent Condition Eibach Springs
Like Title says I have a set of very good condition Eibach lowering springs part #'s Rear 2028.102 and Front 2013.101. They are very clean as I never installed them and previous owner said he ran them for ~ 5000 miles before going to coilovers. Paint is still good. I called Eibach a while back and t...

the most likely point of failure is the head gasket. There are two drillings that carry the oil into the head; either can leak into the nearby coolant galleries. IIRC there is no other single gasket face that carries both engine oil (under pressure) and water, so if it isn't that, you are looking a...

Maybe the gasket that goes in the timing chain cover area? That's just a guess , I have an E30 M42 motor and this was the case on it. I know totally different motor , than the E24. Just guessing it may have a gasket which they call the profile gasket on the M42 E30 could the E24 have the same gaske...

Help! Oil in Coolant - But no Coolant in Oil ?!?!
Need some help. Just finished a B35 swap (with the invaluable aid of yert315 Thanks! ) . Car is running great but then I noticed oil in the coolant tank. I was hoping it was some residual that got in during the motor build so flushed coolant and prayed. More oil in coolant. No sludge or coolant on o...

GOLD PLATED '87 E24 Pearl Beige Comfort Seats
Well the Gold Plated part is a shameless, attention grabbing lie but like the title says I have a pair of Pearl Beige comfort seats out of an '87 E24. All functions work and the leather is supple and in good condition with no rips or tears The only major flaw is that the stitching has come loose on ...

Purge/EGR Valve Questions
I just finished a B35 swap into my 87 E24. I'm wondering if anyone has a picture of how this mounts on an 88 or 89 E24 with the B35. I think it mounts right next to the canister on an e34 w/ a B35 , but I am using a harness from an 89 E24 so the connector from the engine wiring harness to the EGR va...

Does anyone know what the technical name is for the Headliner color that came with a 87 Cinnabar/Pearl Beige e24? I'm getting two colors, Lotosweiss and Natur in my research. I assume mine is natur to go with the pearl beige but the color is so funky its hard to tell. Also to confuse the matter ther...

IT'S ALIVE!!!...but there be Electrical Gremlins: B35 Swap
So finished putting the B35 swap in my 87 e24 last Sunday and.. no start. Jumpered pin 30 and the two 87's on the main relay socket and it fires right up. Now I used an engine harness out of an 88 e24 and did the wire splice on 3 of the 4 wires on the 103 connector near the ecu. I also used the main...

Are you still looking for the comfort seats? I have 2 in pretty fair condition in SoCal that I want to get rid of soon. They are out of an 87 E24 and all functions work. It might be a few weeks til I get them pulled but let me know if you're interested. I'm in Venice, SoCal so you could pick-up and ...

WTB: Right Side Motor Mount for M30B35 Swap
I am looking for a right side(passenger) motor mount to complete a B35 swap in my 87 E24 . The part # is 11-81-1-175-592 It is the unit with 4 holes to mount to block. The stock triangular unit with 3 mount holes ( # 11-81-1-175-590 I believe) in my car wont clear the headers. Sooner is better but l...

Need Tune Help on Built B35 Motor Swap
I need some help regarding a B35 swap I'm doing into my '87 635. What I have is a mildly built b35 out of a '92 E34: 10:1 forged pistons and a 284? cam. I also have a 1.3 Motronic ECU for the new motor. Here's the question: is this ECU going to run this motor well enough to get it up and running? Wi...
