Re: Looking for a late model 6'er
Hey Marc, They are Corbeau A4 Racing Seats, front reclining. We used the standard 635 seat mounts and added some aluminum mounting rails to adapt the A4 seats. Riding position is same as stock, even in the overall seat height. They fit perfectly and are very comfortable even on a long haul. These ar...

Re: '87 635csi going up for sale!
Finally got the car cleaned and ready to be enjoyed by the next owner. As I couldn't even get the picture on the original post to come in correctly, I have all the photos in the Dropbox link below. ( Wasn't even going to try again!) https://vw16-my.sharepoint.com/:f:/g/personal/tmarino_victorywoodwo...

Hey Eric,
I just cleaned up my ‘87 635csi this weekend as I need to move it soon. I just uploaded the photos and videos here…

Take a look at it. A few small projects but runs every day.
Thanks,
Tom

Hey Guys, Time to part with my Cinnabar Red '87 635, 5 speed, as I may need to relocate for another job opportunity and can't keep hauling it around with me. I have some detailed undercarriage photos in a drop box link as posted below and an exterior photo here. I will be gathering the interior phot...

'87 635csi going up for sale!
Well guys, I've held on to my old girl for many years but it's time to find a new home for her. The car is an original TX car I bought from a BMWCCA member years ago. It's always been gargaged so the dash and the exterior rubber is in good shape. It was originally an auotmatic car and the PO convert...

Re: Source for M9 bolts
Good old Bav Auto has reman front calipers for less than $60 each with a 1-2 day lead time. It's not even worth breaking the old ones apart for that cost. I've used these previously on my 635 and the product is very good. Clean 'em, paint 'em and away you go!
Good Luck,
Good Luck,

IRP Shifter installation
Has anyone installed the IRP Short Shift Kit from Turner Motorsport on their 635?
Looks like a very interesting shifter upgrade as I'm really ready to upgrade my sloppy shifter and linkage once and for all this winter.
Any advice will be much appreciated.
Thanks guys

Bleeding clutch slave saga continues...
Well, I believe I’ve read every article about bleeding the notorious clutch slave cylinder and I can’t seem to get it done correctly. I pumped the cylinder on the bench to suck in fluid from the bleed until it started to come out of the inlet port. I then installed the unit, put the pressure bleeder...

No clutch return spring
As I was working this weekend changing the clutch slave cylinder on my ‘87 635csi, I came across something really strange. The PO of the car had changed it from auto to 5 speed before I had purchased the car approximately 20 years ago. I have never had to change anything in the pedal area up until n...

Upgrading shift linkage
Currently running my '87 635csi with some rough shift linkage issues. The PO converted the car from auto and installed a Metric Mechanic transmission and clutch assy. Sine the linkage has been jamming up on me and I can see a lot of slop when I'm under the car I have some serious upgrade questions. ...

Headliner installation in Northern CA
Does anyone have a good source in the Sacramento CA area for installation of a new headliner on my '87 635csi? One of those projects I'm not wanting to tackle. I would rather have an expert tackle this. I plan on replacing the front windshield and all the window gaskets at the same time. I'm located...

Re: 6 Series owners in Reno area??
Thanks Steve,
I'll look you up when I arrive in a few months. Coming out to look for housing on 1/3 thru 1/8.
Shoot me you text number or email address at some point.
Still debating on either driving the car out or having it shipped out.
Any members have a recommendation?
Thanks

Hey fellow 6 owners,
Are there any 6 owners out there in the Reno/Sparks Nevada area?
May be transferred to that area and would like to hook up with any 6 enthusiasts.
Thanks guys,

E90 3.0L engine swap
Along with my 87 635csi, I currently run an '07 328i with one of the last normally aspirated engines. This engine is a bear with approx 240HP and good fuel economy. I currently have 150K and the engine has been fault free. It has a lot of power and I would assume this engine can be tweaked to gain e...
