Looks good but some q's.
Presumably there is a muffler up front, what sort?
Is the new rear section plain empty tube?
Noise?

Nice. I have the K Mac rear adjustables - they do a good job of straightening up the rear camber.
Also, I applied some of that thick crinkle finished 3m wrap on the leading edge of the gas tank to take the gravel rash

Re: mud flaps
Here's what I did a while back https://bigcoupe.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=162070&hilit=mudflaps#p162070 Mock them up in cardboard to get the shape/ style you want The other thing to do is cover the fender lips and lower panels below the trim line with clear 3M film. A lot of Porsche guys do this.

Amazing long stint of flat out high speed driving. Not sure I would want to be along for the ride though.Great video, but I think the Cunningham BMW video of the '89 La Carrera classic may be the best POV ever. https://youtu.be/e5YxcDAB3JE?si=-8gwjs7V1QQjrBq5

Aren't these the recommended stock spark plug for your car? Check on RealOEM or your handbook if you have one.

Re: Retorqueing Cylinder Head as a General Practice?
There's a very specific 3 step torquing procedure when rebuilding engine, the final one an angle torque after fully warming then that's it. It would be very unwise to disturb things unless you were intending to pull the head.

I replaced mine as a matter of course when I rebuilt the engine a few years back, so engine and box out and time not an issue. Did over 3 weekends. Seats, glovebox, under dash cover and centre console out, radio and hetaer panel out. Didn't disconnect the bowden cables as they looked like a minefiel...

Depends what you're buying and weather you want OEM, aftermarket or modified/motorsport.
I've found the following to be good in the past, listed in order of spend, but not so much in the last 5 years.
