Royalblau is one of my favourites, had an e30 in that colour back in the day, beautiful colour, and nice collection!

Re: Series one 265/6 gearbox x member .

I used the middle one on my e12 M535i with dogleg box, as concluded from realoem it was the right one, but ended up having to create additional spacers for gearbox as it hung too low generating vibrations in drivetrain. The original one looked more like the left one

Re: Italy road trip story

Thanks for sharing this great story, the Italian Lake District is wonderful, the M too. Love the break down guarantee, luckily my wife was not with when I had to leave an e24 behind in a German workshop returning from a road trip from Spain to Norway. Picked it up a few weeks later, and returned ok,...

Re: New shoes for M6

I struggle with modern wheels on the e24, I prefer period BBS or Alpina, or similar period correct wheels, on world bumper cars the rc90 looks good as well (although not period correct)

Re: Thinking of Boston to Montreal round trip this summer in my 89, good idea?

Drove one of my csi’s from Spain to Norway and back, last year sold my other csi to a friend from Sweden, and he drove it up from Spain on a European road trip holiday. If maintained they are reliable cars, every year do a couple of e24 meetings, with 3-500 mile drives, enjoying every mile..

For me, one of the best colour combos.., while I like and respect original, that car would look awesome with some 16 or 17 BBS wheels..

Re: Bilstein HD + H&R 35mm Lowering Spring?

I am running Bilstein B6 with H&R springs on one of my sixes, and Bilstein B8 with same H&R springs on the other. Have not had any problems with either. Although they should be same valving etc., the one with B6s has a significantly smoother ride for some reason.

Re: 1987 M6 Losing power/RPM

Get your fuel pressure checked, to see if it is fuelling or electrical, I was convinced I had a fuelling issue until being able to reproduce similar symptoms with pressure gauge in line (driving around with gauge until symptoms appearing), car died with good fuel pressure, verified one crank sensor ...

Re: Stuck with motronics problems Flensburg, Germany

We think is not fuelling related, with pressuregauge the problem occurred while fuel pressure remained unchanged. New relays, pump and filter.. 2 issues, car stumbles and hesitates at high revs, and then dies when warms up after driving for a while. The car is not running hot on the gauge, which sta...

Anybody? Based on previous posts, was thinking I may just drill out the centers of the white plasic nut, including the hex screw, and the window motors should engage again?

Or would I just make the situation worse?
