745 based Turbo Kit- with upgraded K27

I am letting all my turbo stuff go - this was on an M106 that I rebuilt (hence it isnt running anymore) and everything is in working order and not affected by the motor failing. That motor is also available and was running- but the head was getting loud and the motor got tight- probably oil issue. I...

Re: Strut seat bearing sizing discrepancies question

Thansk- that’s what I was thinking as I can only find 2 part numbers and it’s neither... I put it together and I must say the angle isn’t what I have seen from others warning against it- it fits quite well actually. I have seen the cockeyed mounting angle and it appears this setup isn’t having that ...

Strut seat bearing sizing discrepancies question

Finally getting around to replacing all the suspension on the 6 and I picked up some e90 drop hats to get it a little lower and after looking at my new top bearing mounts, it appears I’m adding about an inch of height over the ones I’m replacing... they don’t have a part number on them, and appear t...

So I just found where there was a change in electrical components in cars made after 9/86 for the e24 - I'm assuming to a more b35 centric harness. This may be my issue... Time to start pinning everything out - again!

Need input c101 and x20 plug for 87 e24

I am reverting back to stock harness from a go at 1.3 b35 harness with a c101 to b35 harness made by Bimmerguy and can't for the life of me figure this out. I have a 1987 e24 635csi manual and the harness I put back on has a x20 connector for what looks like a pigtail that goes from x20 to c101 and ...

Is it just me or is that turbo upside down in the motor pic?
Seems like the dump tube is up- I'm assuming that might be a fitting picture or something.

Nice looking ride- GLWS!

9mil M106 E24 Turbo Build Thread- Finally! (Pic heavy)

Posted over on MyE28 as the turbo resources kind of live over there... but thought I would push it over here too- Enjoy! So I have been building a 1987 635csi over the last 3 or so years and I finally had some POC success the other day so I thought it was time to share the whole story – or build t...

I second this- except shipped to 30338 Atlanta ga thanks! Pod, I just found this thread; I hope you still have some left. I am new to E24s, so please pardon my ignorance. Is the heater control valve the part shown as #1 in the linked diagram? http://www.penskeparts.com/ShowImage.aspx?image=Diagrams/...

I'm thinking I need one of these but not sure- my heater valve just clicks on and off, like on a cycle. Does that sound right?

No build thread - the little kids make its hard enough to get the work done in the first place! I am dangerously close to having my MS wired up for at least a start situation. Going to go throught the pre- start tests before putting power at it tonight and tomorrow.... Supposed to be using ASP remot...

That is exactly what I need to accomplish... When I hooked the vent back to the intake it ran so much better... That was with my original AFM and chip setup. I am guessing even with MS the vent needs to be there to aid in ring sealing or bottom end pressure- so I just need to get it done!
