Hi Paul, Here is one that might be helpful re: fuel pump relay...http://bigcoupe.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=25460&highlight=start I had a few no start threads bookmarked on my desktop but I am traveling right now. Not familiar with that sticky you mentioned. Search is good here, but sometimes ha...

Helluva match that final. Couldn't help feel bad for Fed losing another tight major final, even though he has had plenty. Good call on your part, but yeah that was a real tight match and you have to admit could have gone either way. In fact a lot of the stats people pointed to showed Fed having a hi...

Have you seen Roger charge the service line on his opponent's second serve? The announcers named it the 'blade' or the 'hatchet' or something like that. No hadn't really noticed. I saw the highlights from that last matchup between them tho. Pretty awesome match. I have been crazy busy... But not to...

U.S. Open

Okay Greg,

What do think? Fed or Djokavic? I really haven't seen any of it yet... but it would seem before the tourney started Roger's chances were pretty good. How are things looking?

I just want to drive that thing. I mean I have plenty of things to do right now, and it wouldn't be right having no real interest in buying it. That's the cool thing about this "Wheels and Deals" place near Palo Alto. People who want to sell just use this lot, and you do test drives with p...

Personally, I cannot speak to this but are you familiar with the Bentley manual and the Electrical Troubleshooting Manual? As best I recall the ETM would be of limited help here but it does have some pictures (perhaps the most clear in certain online versions- jpg vs. pdf or something of that sort)....

You must resize your photos in some type of photo editing software before posting... 800 or 1000 pixels wide for horizontals is good.... 725 for verticals.

Re: New Shark Wrangler

Noct; Thanks for the welcome. I've liked the 6 series from it's predecessors, (3.0CS). E24's and E31's are my favorite BMW's, except maybe an M1. So I'm very qualified as the newbie dumb-a**. Thanks again,y See ya Ha. Well you sound quite knowledgable about cars in general. I'm able to chime in at ...

Noct, Leatherique sells and entire kit, with sponge brushes, microfiber clothes and other application tools. If you haven't bought the products yet, you might ask them about that. I agree 100% about the smell in the HF stores. I've said it before, but a friend of mine said you lose 5 years of life ...

It's not clear from your post whether they have been reupholstered or restored yet. BTW, I think beige and natur are different colors. Beautiful car! GLWS. I'm curious what springs you've got with your Bilstein HDs... I've recently found how hard it is to figure out set-up without going either H&R lowering or back to a rear SLS.

I'm not sure what kind of thing to get for spraying the paint. I've been buying stuff mostly from Harbor Freight these days, but I will avoid something that is more likely to retain that damn smell from their shops. They have stuff by Central Pneumatic I think it's called. Some kind of gravity feed ...

Steering wheel R&R

So I'm working with an M-Tech and airbag wheel that I want to get rid of. I've read up on the airbag removal... have disconnected the relevant plugs, but I don't see how to remove the unit. The four holes in the back don't seem to have screws in them... I still need to get a little mirror so I can t...

Re: amount of time

"]Great effort, looks great, approx how many man hours, start to finish? Dye removal - 4 hours labor. This was mainly because of the poor condition of the wheel, and the care I needed to take not to fray the threaded stitching. Sanded with 400,600,1000, 1500 grit. Dye spraying - 1 hour labor (...
