Hi Don,

I was about to give up finding mine and one night was searching Ebay Germany (www.ebay.de) and found them new, with the RealOEM part numbers, both for the price of one. The bit I did not find was the center piece but was able to find left and right pieces.

I have done quite a lot to the old lady lately: Refreshed the suspension front and rear. Installed front and rear Weicher strut bars. Front one is an easy installation rear one is a real PITA. however the difference in the ride is well worth all the swearing and getting in and out of trunk for a hun...

Addam, Ralph is 100% right, you should get a reinforcement for the pedal bracket now that it is off the car. Mine was cracked when the master cylinder of the clutch snapped off, I got a reinforcement welded on the bracket, silly me for not having taken a picture, the guy who did mine did a fantastic...

we've all pulled a few boners I'm sure.... and at least you came to no harm. I've done some pretty stupid things; enough that it is tough to pick a clear winner.... cheers The interesting thing Brucey is that we question ourselves after the event: "how silly was I to do that?" For ...

Absolutely Ron!! Better still, I could have asked him to start the car, leave it running for an hour or so and could've checked if exhaust fumes managed to get in the boot!!!

I did something very silly!!!

I was debating with myself as to whether I should post this or not. I decided I would as it may help prevent some body making the same mistake. A couple of months ago I installed a Weicher front strut bar, I was pleased with the outcome so I decided to order the rear one. I received the bar and one ...

Thank you very much Chris, definitely a picture paints a thousand words!!! I know where to start tracing the missing tube now. I did find the white tube turned yellow in the engine bay. See before and after pictures below.

Thank you for the reply Sharkfan. I can see the electrical wires but couldn't find any pipes to plug in the hole of the grey one.

What category is that part listed under in RealOEM? Do you know?

Best regards, Orlando.

What do they do?

Could somebody please tell me what are these two things and what they do? They are switches located below the kickpanel on the driver's side (right hand drive vehicle) the top one is a BMW switch, the bottom one is a Bosch.

I read somewhere that one is a chime generator.

Thank you. Orlando
