Had the same problems with him. Quick to take the money and then just lies. Took 6 months and the threat of violence to get my money back. Total scumbag.

In mine, both the middle and top vents blow cold air. However, if you open the top vents AND the middle at the same time, the middle vents seem to shut down. Cold air also comes out of the corner, dash vents.

Thanks, that seems about right.

Which vents for AC?

Hi,

Odd one, just retro fitted the AC system, I now only have AC cold air coming out of the top vents of the dash, even with the AC off and just the fan running. The middle vents in the center console don't work anymore, is that normal?

What vents should the AC come out of normally?

Thanks
Rick.

Best place for UK parts?

Hi All, As per title, where is the cheapest place for parts in the UK or EU? I would normally order from ECS and ship to Joburg, but will be in the UK in October so makes sense to take an empty suitcase. I have to shell out for the timing components for 2x M88 engines which makes me want to cry. Tha...

Folger Cup 4. Never seen these on a 6 before, or any BMW for that matter. No longer in production. Limited run made for the E34 M5 I believe, but look better on a shark.

There was some chap selling 16-18 conversion kits for about $1500usd. You can get any barrels / offsets u want. To make a set from my old metrics is certainly something I'm looking at in the future. It would be nice to have a wheelset that can run with no spacers, fill the guards and maximise the r...

Hi Gaz,

Have you got a list of the timing chain and things that you have purchased? Part numbers etc. I've just seen that ECS is having a sale on BMW parts and am thinking it's time to get my M88 build on the go too!

Cheers,
Rick.

The sensors I put in my '86 euro were easy. One is from an E30 M3 and the other is a VDO sensor. Roland supplied everything.

Skank, The speedo is from a SA-only 745. That's my guess. Can you get me one too? I want a 280kph speedo to put back in my M as well. The oil gauge looks great. Glad to see this is gaining some traction. It's a great use of the PNDRL space that ends up being wasted on manual cars. I've already got ...
