Re: Where to buy a parallel flow condenser?
Update. After no luck finding a parallel flow condenser, I decided to go with Genuine BMW. One problem. BMW no longer makes a condenser for the car it appears as told to me by the parts agent. I guess I'll be reusing my old one and will try to do a flush and hope for the best.

Re: Where to buy a parallel flow condenser?
Yes, I have done an exhaustive search including calling the businesses listed in the threads. I have called each of the aforementioned businesses as well and nobody has any knowledge or recall of the parallel condenser. One company denied ever having made one, even though I provided them with a part...

Where to buy a parallel flow condenser?
Hello to all. I am rebuilding my AC system, all parts are original to the car. It 's an 87 M6. I have searched endlessly on the forum to find where to get a new condenser. I called Original Auto Car, Classic auto air, American Air, and all the other listed placed members have gotten condensers befor...

Took me FOREVER to figure this out on my car. Check for a seized brake caliper. This was surprisingly elusive. I waited 6 months for a new calipers from Germany.

Thank you for the recommendation. Yes, I did see the listing on BAT a couple weeks ago. This car is every bit as nice, and frankly, maintained to the highest standards. Everything is updated. In fact, I have no problem keeping the car whatsoever. I just bought TRX tires for it two days ago and will ...

Re: Current speakers for factory locations
I used Hybrid Audio Legatia L4SE. Not cheap, but a quality speaker with shallow mounting depth in the floor area. Up top, Dynaudio esotec tweeters. It has a stock appearance and required no cutting whatsoever.

Re: SLS height adjustment
Thanks for the response. Am I correct in that is takes rotation of the level which mounts to the rear sway bar to adjust ride height: Is this something that requires a special tool or can I do this by hand? It is not self evident to me after looking at it.
Thanks again

SLS height adjustment
Hello to all. I have searched how to adjust the rear ride height by adjusting the articulation lever that mounts to the rear sway bar. My SLS was not working, however after replacing the relay, it came back to life(awesome). It appears to ride a bit high, however, and I would like to lower it by adj...

Why is my AC hot in front and cold in the rear?
Just as it says, my 87 M6 blows ambient air out of the front vents (above and above the stereo) yet the rear console is ice cold? What might cause this?
Thank you!
Thank you!

Re: Tachometer error after full cluster restoration
Yes, I agree with you. The thought of removing the cluster again and shipping it back to California does not sound appealing. I ordered a coding plug from BMW today and report back once it arrives. Nothing like starting a fire with 100 dollar bills.

Re: Tachometer error after full cluster restoration
It is a 1987 pre 6/87 M6. The coding plug was in it's proper place. Is it possible it is faulty or got switched? Any ideas on where to confirm it is the rigt one or obtain a new one?

Tachometer error after full cluster restoration
Hello to all and thanks for the advice in advance. I just had my E24 M6 cluster completely overhauled (tach was completely inoperative)by Bavarian Restoration, and while it looks beautiful, the tachometer is reading about 500 RPM lower than it did before and is not a fluid when climbing through the ...

Hello everyone. My AC switch will not spring back to the off position. It is stuck and I have tried wiggling it, tapping it briskly and it will not return. Any tips on how to lubricate them? Passenger door and fuel door will not open!
Hi everyone, I tried to take my 87 M6 for a ride today and went to get some gas. Well, the gas door would not open. Then I realized that the passenger door wouldn't open either from either the inside or the outside. Furthermore, the key will not unlock the door. I am guessing the electronic actuator...
