Re: Reservoir Leak

With the engine OFF pump the brake pedal until it goes hard. Now check the level. Should be about 10mm. from the top.

Are you sure that's #186 Ron?
He read me the # after I told him where on the engine bulkhead he could find it.

Do you not think it is?

Any ideas, support or who you would recommend that can look at this for me would be amazing!
A more detailed location would help to find someone local to you.

Congratulations Bobbo. Now you can REALLY enjoy yourself.

I retired around 16 years ago and have never looked back. :D

Soon as this wound heals up I can get back to doing more BM themed work. [-o<

Re: WTB Early Model Clear GloveBox Bag

It is my understanding that the early model cars came with a clear pocket that would let you put your owner handbook in and insurance card/registration. Are you referring to the white plastic folder that the handbook etc. fitted into. That has clear plastic pockets. P1020970.JPG P1020966.JPG P10209...

Re: Looking for "belly pan" or PN#

Hi should a RHD M635 have this ? There are a couple of studs below the radiator cross member - wondering why they might be there (appear to have not been used - as still painted). They are for mounting clips for the automatic gearbox oil cooling pipes on a non-M 635. http://bmwfans.info/parts-catal...

Re: Car in S.Wales

I went to have a look last week and it was rusting everywhere. Who in their right mind would pay that kind of money?

Be interesting to see if the sale goes through.

I left a message for the vendor this morning. See if he comes back to me.

I'm looking for an M30B35 engine loom, preferably from a highline E24 but I'm open to what's available as I'll need to modify it either way. Must be from a B35 car though as it needs to be motronic 1.3
I've got one here. PM me.

Interesting that the seller claims that the original wheels are style 5's, I would have thought they would be TRX :-?
There was a metric wheel and tyre(tire) in the boot(trunk) and photo #94 shows the full set of metrics.
