Me too! We will be back from our North West Tour on the 8th. I am driving my e12 so the e24 could do with the drive. Hopefully I should be able to do the full drive this time!

Each state registration authority is "supposed" to recognise out of state registration - even historic - as long as it complies with the registration requirements of that state. The Vic system is a better system than the NSW equivalent so just keep your logbook in the car. If you are pulle...

Good choice Addam. Hopefully there will be no more problems for your business from BMW or from your opposition. The e12 was the one from Coffs Harbour. Drove it back to Sydney on Tuesday so missed the high temps and the bushfires (lucky). The car ran great - never missed a beat.

Hi Addam, I like the inclusion of classic but you may want to expand into late model stuff later. I also know BMW are very careful with their identification and even clubs have problems using the rondel. German colour stripes look OK or go with something radical like the southern cross or eureka fla...

Hi Addam, The early model gearbox should have a speedo drive on the left hand side of the box. If this is from an early car, I am interested provided the box is OK - dogleg boxes are very expensive to overhaul. Do you know anything about the quality of the box, whether the gear change is Ok etc? Tha...

Thanks guys. It was a personal import - 1991. Don't know any history but it came with no cost option rust - not as bad as some but first thinsg was to weld the diff hanger back onto the body and correct some other underbody nasties. Personally I like the wheels (colour and all) and think they suit t...
