Re: Perth to Albany

Thanks Ralph - been a bit quiet but this weekend I went to Heaven - I got to speak to Gentleman Jim Richards for 10 min. Talked about the Falcon Sprint / AMX Javelin / JPS BMW 635 Group C. I had my picture taken with him and Jim holding my 7 y/o Grand Daughter. Paul - keep going with the hard work m...

Re: Perth to Albany

Nice to see Locutus given a good run - I'm sure he appreciates it. I know what it is capable of on the 2v engine. My mind shudders to think what a 4v engine will do to it.

G'day Ellis - your beautiful sister still with you - miss her heaps!!!

Re: E24 40th anniversary.

That's a great read Ron. Thank you ! I can confirm the sentiments in the piece. Just came back from a blast down south along the freeways. LOCUTUS lived up to the hype and then some. Saw off a Mach 1 Mustang who gave up at somewhere north of 160km/h. The car just wanted more, but prudence got the b...

Re: VINNY'S OUTBACK TALE!

Hi Pod, pretty tough with the rain / floods there - are you affected (hope not)?

One of the Ford guys who runs an Auto-electrical business just posted about an 85 Red M635 coming in for work - BMW's are his favourite Euro!

Re: VINNY'S OUTBACK TALE!

High Greg - you'll have to send me a link to the original. Just got out of Hospital after 13 weeks. Had three major AMI's in one day - all silent - total body shut down. Everything kicked back in except I now have a major heart Disrythmia (AF) which I don't feel till the blood pressure drops to a da...

You know, you can still call him Locutus ya know. I think I prefer the thin one on this car............errr.........LOCUTUS. You don't need to, he is smart enough to read it for himself  Although Patrick Stewart played LOCUTUS of Borg, the literal latin translation for LOCUTUS is basica...

Salutations to all - took the E24 for a run today after several months of me being sick and unable to drive. The start of the drive went well with the car running faultlessly. Then, for no particular reason it started to become difficult to get into gear. What ever was happening was intermittent. Ge...
