Re: Sport Seat Hinge Covers
Hi JPS 635, I got the mats from this outfit, www.lloydmats.com I think they fit better than any other product I have purchased and are closer to OEM than others. I remember them being a little pricey but I was not unhappy with the end result. ---------------------------------------------------------...

Re: Electric Sport Seat Hinge Covers
Many thanks to JPS635 for link and JCS for the suggestion to use the German Wallothnesch website but after 2 orders from descriptions on the website, both covers turned out to be for manual M6 seats. The part numbers I am looking for are all NLA so will have to come from used seats from "parts...

Re: WTB Sport seat knee bolster 2 plug wire
Ralph, Thanks for the tip. As you suggested, I spliced into the 12v on the main input connector on my passenger seat, soldered the wires to 2 BMW female connector pins, plugged those pins into the missing 2 connector pins on the bolster motor connector and WHALLA! Thigh bolsters work like a champ. G...

Dear Soccernut, I am troubleshooting the same issue. My electric adj. headrest sport seats are not OEM for my 88 635CSi...they were added by previous owner and he never bothered to get the seat bolsters working. I have found that I need 12v applied to 2 'male' pins in the main bolster connector. Sin...

Rear Sun Screen Repair for 6 Series?
Anyone have a fix for broken loop tabs on each end of the rear pull-up sun screen? Hooks in roof are just fine, it's the 2 plastic tabs on the screen rod that bit the dust. Both at the same time....UV finally got to them. Info much appreciated since they don't make them anymore. Thanks, Max

tail light frame gaskets
Hi Mark, yes, I put some rubber restore on them and they are like new. They seem to fit all the way around and look to be sealed okay. Was fortunate to catch the corrosion before it did damage to them. They weren't adhered to the frame and no ripping occurred when I separated them. I could not belie...
