Re: Good Wire Source

Looking around further, I found this supplier that looks very good. They sell in lengths of 5, 10, 25, 50, and 100 feet at pretty reasonable prices in several popular gauges. The site seems a bit difficult to navigate, but once you select the body colour and gauge the available trace colours can be ...

Re: Good Wire Source

Two sources I have used. Although both are based in the UK, paying by credit card / PayPal and shipping by Royal Post are reliable and reasonable. To be honest I was using the wire for my vintage Lotus; not sure if the wire body & tracer colours suit BMW colours or not? I used the Thin Wall stuf...

M6 Cruise Control - Is there a light when engaged?

My cruise works fine and correctly disengages with the clutch and brake. I have used the car so infrequently I don't recall if here is a dash warning light to tell you the cruise is engaged? I thought I remember one, but could be thinking of a different vehicle.

Thx

My thoughts exactly Zieg. Watched the video before reading your post. Not only were they completely dismissive of the Z3 in the narrative, they don't even have it in the final group line-up. :-? In Bimmer Magazine's Buyers Guides over the years Mike Miller mentions the Z3 almost has it's own followi...

Cool bike MrsBee. A Silver Wing was my first bike! In addition to my '87 M6... Daily driver is a Mercedes R350 BlueTEC. Great car for touring and taking my wife's dogs to shows. I restored a '69 Lotus Elan Plus 2 about six years ago. I have toured it to Vancouver several times and to Lotus meets in ...

One other thing to check is that the pressure cap on the reservoir is sealing correctly. Mine was not, resulting in the coolant frothing up while driving and fooling the float in the sensor. The minor amount of coolant that was discharged thru the overflow tube was blown away while driving, so it wa...

Thanks guys for the welcome & props. The colour sort of changes in the light with a sort of blue & pink pearl highlight, like the skin of a salmon I guess. :D I understand Lachssilber (Salmon Silver - 203) NA E24's were Canada only? I have the '87 Canadian colour chart somewhere. I think the...

Just got set up on the forum today, so saying hello. I found the forum while following the sale of Wynn's Euro six on Bring a Trailer (BaT). Understand the car went to a terrific home in Washington State. I have had my '87 M6 for about fifteen years, and had a '87 635 five speed before that. Have be...
