Re: Oil change before or after winter lay-up

+1 Fall oil change. Why leave janky oil in the engine? Besides, you'll have a lot more to do in the spring like wash and wax.

Re: Adding OEM cruise control?

It is interesting how "cruise control" has evolved with integration of crash avoidance, lane departure, platooning and GPS. Adding primitive CC seems like a lot of work. I would imaging that CC would become a smart phone app. I've worked with a company that did event recording for trucks to capture ...

I found that the Lowe's blue bucket is slightly smaller than the HD orange bucket so that they nest nicely for storage and don't get jammed together. Consider it "color coding."

We're getting ready for Halloween pumpkins. Late in the day the color is near-golden. The car is bronzit-beige and has never been respr...

I suggest Dynamat for soundproofing. It's not lightweight are there are other similar products available.

Shop Lights

I am converting my T12 4' fluorescent lighting to LED. Costco has them for $39.99. The benefits are no flickering or dimming when we get to the chill of winter and they won't need new ballasts every few years. The new ones have 4000K color temperature, 4000 lumens and consume 52 watts. This compares...

Re: My 6'er

The interior needed some work so I've started a Leatherique treatment to my Pearl Beige seats. I guess most of the crud that comes off with the rejuvenator is actually oxidized dye rather than sweat or soiling. As to the steering wheel, after the Leatherique, what is the best stuff to redo the black...
