Re: Power to weight ratio....

Was kinda thinking how Porsche 911's make the power to weight ratio work for them. If anyone had tried to do the same on their 6... I know there are aluminum control arms, but what else for un-sprung weight, or even chassis. Thanks Tim

VDO Gauges

Hello, was wondering if anyone has replaced the factory gauge cluster with individual VDO gauges... I’ve got a ‘82 Euro, and was thinking of doing it, being mine needs fixing... Any pro/cons would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Tim

Re: Euro M6 conversion intake throttle body

M88/S38 ITBs can be fitted to an M30 engine but you will need an adaptor plate to do it because the inlet manifold gaskets are different. The adaptor then spaces the inlet manifold off to the left more than normal which means that a standard M635/M6 plenum inlet won't fit without clashing on all th...

Euro M6 conversion intake throttle body

I have a stock Euro 635csi with AFM, Motronic and was wonder if a Euro M6 intake throttle body set up could be converter to mine..... In my mind, switching the AFM to the driver side, building a aluminum intake, I see it happening. Any of you that may have done this, or leave it alone... Thanks TIm ...

[quote="rattusM6"]Hi Tim, Hope you are well. First of all that dash, I guess there has to be a downside to having all that sunshine and very little rust in the car having sat outside for all that time. Secondly, does the 850 brake upgrade give a considerable improvement over the OE caliper...

Yesterday I found some time to cut out the only rust that was in the floor pan. Not bad for a car that sat outside for many years! No more..... When I'm done with rebuilding this 6, she'll have a nice spot in the garage!

So I'm making a point to get my 6 back on the road, it's been hard with my work load! I finally got some new rubber to install, found some new used Pirelli 295/30-18 and 225/40-18 and I must say I'm super happy!!
