WTB: SI Board for a late model.
Hey guys, I’m currently on the hunt for an SI board that is specific to the late model cars PN: 62111385094. Seems to be interchangeable with late e28s, and e23s as well. I sent my cluster out for repair and my SI board is deemed unusable so here I am asking for your help in finding a good replaceme...

Re: WTB: G260/6
Kyle, surely I saw your ad on mye28 as well. I have 2 quantity getrag 260/6 fins bottom untested transmissions from dismantled e28 535 cars. Both look good with one looking a bit better cosmetically. I doubt either have issues but who knows. I don't think I would install them just to find out 😂 1k/...

If you plan on keeping the car for a long spell and willing to spend the money the best option I can offer is to call Jim @ Metric Mechanic. Hands down the best rebuilt BMW transmissions. https://metricmechanic.com/ultimate-transmission-rebuilds/ Oh boy that is not a bad option, may be a bit pricey...

WTB: Round 6-plug Throttle Position Sensor for late model Auto 635
As the title states i'm in search of a late model (88') round 6 plug Throttle Position Sensor for an automatic car. Car runs/starts (terribly) and there is no change when the TPS is disconnected so my assumption is that mine is shot somehow from sitting. Anything online is out of stock or incredibly...

Did a system reset by disconnecting both battery cables then holding the cable ends together for 15 seconds. Worked out well

High Fluctuating Idle after dormant start.
Hi All, currently a little baffled with my e24. It is an 88' that was auto now swapped to 5-speed. The car has been on jack stands for awhile doing a 5-speed swap and replacing the head gasket. Anyway Last spring of 2021 I got it fired up for the first time since I initially took it off the road in ...

I bought these for my manual swapped 88 car. I haven't installed them yet but they are a decent option when compared to the dealer prices.

WTB: Driveshaft for a 260/6
Before I have a custom one made I would like to try one last time to buy one second hand. I'm looking for 26111225461, which is the driveshaft that is 1566mm long or about 61.5 inches long. I bought one on ebay that is for the g260/5 and is about 2 inches short. Thank you!

Correct Driveshaft length?
So I'm in the middle of doing a 5-speed swap into my car (Getrag 260/6 into a 1988 late model) and I thought I had the correct driveshaft since the part number matched RealOEM. When I went to install it today it was about an inch and a half too short. The adjustment on the splines was not enough to ...

Re: Shift Tower Help
It appears that the shifter and cup are already in place. The shifter should be operational - meaning it moves in all directions and does not pop out of the console All those additional parts are used for the sheet metal console and will get in the way of proper operation if left in place Ralph Und...

Re: Shift Tower Help
For the aluminum console that you’re showing, only the nylon cup that snaps in place is all that you will need. The shifter is pushed into the nylon cup first, then that assembly snaps into the aluminum console All those springs, snap ring and spacer ring are to be removed Ralph okay so I basically...

Pilot Bearing Depth?
for those who have replaced a pilot bearing in the M30B35 engine or done a 5-speed swap and added one. How far into the crank did you put the new bearing? I was under the impression that it bottomed out when I Installed it, but I would like a second opinion before bolting the transmission in for the...
