Probably asked a million times.
Sachs or bilstein.
I like a smooth ride. I know sachs were the oem are they much softer than the bilsteins.
Cheers.

Access rear drain holes.
How do you get to the rear drain holes behind the sunroof or is it just trial and error. I’m using a cable fish. Can’t see a hole anywhere.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Rear leak.
So before I spend in having the rear screen rubber changed, I’ve had the front done and known the cost could the wet be something else, the rear is dry but the side where you see the staining is not, could that just be a drain whole🤞 I’ve also just recently got a wet patch on the drivers side footwe...

Great thanks, I wondered where the norm grills info got to as the link is down, brilliant site used it loads in the past.
I have taken the dash out before for something else so will have a look. I have a couple of those resisters. Thanks.

Mine was doing the same, had a new fuel pump last year and new relay so it wasn’t that, it was the crank sensor.

Heater only works on full.
My heater blower only works on full, so I changed the resister I think that’s what it’s called and it still didn’t work. Any ideas what the issue could be. Could it be the relay? Im stuck now.

Front electric window
Hi.
My offside front window gets stuck, the motor clicks and sometimes it goes down. I have taken the motor out in the past and know it’s a horrible job. Is there any way of greasing the motor in situ. Also the plastic cog that you use to manually move the window just spins around now.
Thanks.

Re: ATF leak.
Ok I found the problem seems to be a bad seal on this booster. What is this actually called and is there a seal kit.
Thanks

ATF leak.
I’ve just got an atf leak. There’s a puddle on the floor and after topping up the reservoir it’s lost about 1/4. The brakes go flat then hard then flat and I saw a load of atf fluid spewing out when the brakes are pressed engine on coming out from the bulkhead end. I’ve had the power steering pump c...

Gearbox swap.
Think I’m finally going swap my gear box from the 82 euro 3 speed auto to a non switchable 84 euro 4 speed auto. The 4 speed is in my donor so I have everything I’d need to convert. But beyond the box and prop shaft what else would I need to take off. And if anyone has done this any advice or pics w...

Aerial grinding noise
Hi.
My aerial makes an horrendous grinding noise when it goes up, and it only goes up half way. Is it broke or are there any serviceable parts inside. The aerial isn’t bent at all.
Thanks.
Antony.

Hi.
Which one is my fuel pump relay. I think it gone as the engine is still quitting after I’ve just replaced the fuel pump and filter.
Thanks

Re: Intermittently shuts off
Thanks. I’m going to get pump and filter changed. It was flagged up last year anyway after a full service that it was on its way out, so I’m going to bite the bullet and just get it done. Cause of my location it’s very tricky for me to do it myself.
Cheers.

Re: Intermittently shuts off
My experience with intermittent shutdown and immediately being able to refire the motor has been the fuel pump relay The relay overheats and cuts off fuel supply. It resets when powered off so you’re able to restart immediately There are a few reasons for the relay overheating. The relay may be rea...
