Re: UK M635CSi #091
I'm told the car still has the Pine Green cloth interior throughout. I'm glad to hear that's the case. Personally I think it's a great colour/material combo, and not just because it's rare. Wonder what happened to that £4k re-trim? Thank you for the update Soperman. I am very glad that it still has...

I had used Programa Inc. (http://www.programainc.com) before. They probably can repair yours.

Good luck.

Re: UK M635CSi #091
I was told by the BMW M Registry founders in the past that this (091) is one of the six RHD M635CSi in Agate Green Metallic (177) and the ONLY one with Pine Green Highland Cloth (0190). There are only eight (8) M635CSi with the Agate Green Metallic and Pine Green Highland Cloth combinations. There o...

I love the fact that the depth/shade of the green color changes depending on the amount of light shining on it.

Re: Questions on M635CSi / M6 mufflers
Thanks M6smitten. I have the same thought. My other thought is the "newer" version may have longer tail pipes to accommodate the longer "world" bumper. Can anyone confirm it?M6smitten wrote:My guess is it has to do with catalytic converters.

Questions on M635CSi / M6 mufflers
Does anyone know the physical differences between two M635CSI rear mufflers - 18121309004 (for vehicles up to June, 1987) and 18121311921 (for vehicles from June, 1987 and on)? If you put "18121311921" into parts search in RealOEM.com, you will see both together. Otherwise, only one will b...

- Can it be seen from above the engine looking down at the ground? - On the driver's (US) side by the starter correct? Yes, but other things are in the line of sight. Correct. - Does it require mirrors or anything to be removed to see it? If it is not covered by dirt or rust, a mirror may work (I h...

Re: Need help on M88/3 Engine Number - "M88/3 - 200"
Hi miike87, thank you for sharing your photo. I have a hypothesis here. It looks like the earlier engines (such as yours) used the VIN plus a 4-digit code as the engine ID. Later on, an 8-digit engine coding system (similar to what Ron posted) was used. Here is another S38 that uses the 8-digit codi...
