Re: President Donald J Trump makes history...

You're working hard to defend an indefensible position and most of your post doesn't warrant a reply. Why, because everything I have said was factually correct. Let's start by standardizing the prices used...this is from the DOE and gives monthly averages, back to 1994. December 2020 gas was 2.555 ...

[/quote] the topic is biden, not obama and the key point is that Trump kept inflation in check while increasing middle-class HHI. something that neither obama or biden can claim. If fact, you may remember obama saying those jobs were not coming back. You do bring up a good point on the source of pol...

Re: President Donald J Trump makes history...

Ok, it's old and xiden has given us so many more reasons to appreciate mean tweets since jacking with the price of gas. but 8 months in, the rehash seems worthwhile. I have to say, most of the hatred that I see in memes like that Hunter gem come from the political parties who need us to hate each o...

It's been a while but I thought I should respond and add some more detail. First off, I agree with brickwhite, I should have let you know I had the seats listed locally on CL. I hadn't gotten any responses to the CL ad so I just didn't think about it. We agreed on a price for the seats. We both look...

SOLD - Black Manual Recaro Seats

I have this pair of manual Recaros that I believe were originally in a 1985 M635 (they bolted in to my '85 635). Model: Recaro Idealsitz LS (81) KBA 90024. Original black leather is in great shape. Amazing for 34 year old seats. $950 +shipping. I'm in Austin, Texas and local pickup would of course b...

Ralph in Socal - more Positive

Been meaning to post feedback on these transactions. Ralph sent me some sport seat gears a while ago and was a great help. One thing about waiting so long, I can say the recline gears have held up! Thanks again, Ralph

dakal - Positive!

Better late than never, wanted to post some positive feedback. I ordered a set of Hella fog lights from dakal a while back (over a year ago) and all went well. Good communication and well packed. Thanks!

I had a similar problem and posted photos of my solution over on an AC thread on the Bimmer Forum: https://www.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?2301047-BMW-E24-AC-upgrade(AS-OF-2016)&p=29335914#post29335914 The plastic pins that stick out and act as hinges were still intact on my flaps but ...

I see ones in excellent condition like yours doing well on Bring a Trailer. I have no experience selling on BaT or what the fees/hassle/deadbeat buyers are like but doing a quick search I see many bid up to and over what you are asking. It seems to be the right audience vs. Kijiji/Craigslist. https:...

Looks like the link changed for some reason: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/E24-BMW-635c ... 3704484424

Too bad about the rust. Interior is in nice shape, dash and steering wheel look pristine.

Re: Windshield Wipers Jumping

My windshield wipers act similarly. Holding the momentary position always works. Fast speed always works. Slow speed sometimes works fine and sometimes stutters across the windshield. If I turn it on slow and it works fine it will continue to work if I don't touch the lever which makes me also belie...

Ha, I notice this time they didn't include a pic of the engine like they did the last time they listed it: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/hedge-find-b ... 1438.l2649 Edit: Looks like the car was an extra in The Evil Dead.

I wonder if bidders are seeing that "M" badge on the front grill and thinking they are getting a "steal"?

Re: 1984 633CSi Rises again!

Song, I think its great you are going to do your own painting. When I bought my car the PO had hit a curb with spoiler and the paint was cracked and peeling off the plastic spoiler. I bought about 10 different cans of red and found a match. A few coats and it looked good. For a while, then it start...

25 year anniversary trumps working on the car, congrats! :D I bought the higher powered transistor but never had to put it in after I replaced the motor. I still have I believe an original spec 2N3055 on the AC fan and have run it a lot over the last 2 years without problem. I guess you could say th...

Re: 1984 633CSi Rises again!

Song, did you replace your heater fan motor? After replacing these transistors multiple times I suspect that the real culprit is the old fan motors which either stick or are slow to start up and pull too much current. I replaced the heater and AC fan transistors and they both failed within a year. I...

Wow, those look awesome. Your bottom will be very happy. Maybe one day I'll happen across something like that. Thanks, yeah I'm pretty excited. They weren't cheap but it was a good price I think considering the great condition of the leather. I'd read that the Recaros are narrow and they really are...
