Oh. I may have partially misunderstood your query. But it looks like Tom nailed it! Cheers, What did you think I was asking? Turns out that the green/yellow cable is what feeds the pump. Looking at it now I feel dumb since it tells you in the schematic. I thought you were assuming you had output fr...

Re: Double Relay 0332514121

I'd wager the wire color of the hot lead at the fuel pump matches the relay plug.

:)

If not, you maybe able to check continuity.

You have no MAF :) Clean the track on your AFM with an eraser. Cheers, Ray Oh sorry, I called it a MAF sensor but I knew it was a AFM. However, I don't know what you mean by cleaning it with an eraser. What is the "track" I am to clean? Thanks in advance. I'll try anything right now. Here...

Re: 1984 633CSi Rises again!

Oddly I feel like I have asked you that before in this thread, but I can't be bothered to check :D

For ignition, I mean distributor cap, rotor, spark plug cables.

Do your plugs look okay? What are you running? I know M10s don't like platinum plugs. Not certain about your motor.

Re: 1984 633CSi Rises again!

I'm too lazy to read through your thread again :) but have you done a valve adjustment?

Otherwise maybe ignition. And look again for vacuum leaks. I think.

It's always the last place you look! ;-)

Re: M635CSi Shifter

I was considering a UUC kit for the E24. I have one in my M3 (e36) and enjoy it, but I wanted to verify that it would fit. I'm replacing the bushings and the knuckle itself as well. I have that one. Recommended. Tho the gears selection orientation is forward a little (including neutral). You may wa...

Re: Water Pump and Alternator Advice Needed

My alternator bearing(s) had been complaining for years. Determined by a liberal spritz of oil to the location while running. I pulled the alternator for bearing replacement when the water pump went last year, original pump and 82k miles. I had no issue with oil cooler lines in the way. Maybe I bett...

I've seen infrared cameras used for heat detection of hot relays when they shouldn't have been. You may be able to use an IR temp gun for the same application. FWIW.

Finally got round to lift the car and have a look at the speed sensor in the rear differential, and as luck would have it, one of the wires was broken at the plug. Repaired that and all is well. Funny how it decided to happen whilst the car was not being used. Anyway, on to the next issue... Make s...

How old is the fuel?

How are you checking for spark?

Are the plugs wet?

Are the spark plug cables in the proper order?
