Faded Bumpers & Dynamat
Hello, looking for a product I can use on front and rear bumpers that have been faded due to years of weather and sun. I use the typical stuff sold in auto stores but I have to use them every time I wash the car. Anyone have a permanent solution. Is there an aerosol I can use. Prep the bumper and th...

Re: Rear Window Blind Help
I had the same issue and tried different options. The one I'm using know for the past two years are Binder Clips. That's right, good old Binder Clips you can buy in any color to match your shade. They clip right onto the end of the shade and just use one of the hooks to attach. Easy simple fix for a...

Hi, I tried doing the more modern HID light bulbs and they were more of a headache constantly blowing bulbs and fuses. I reverted back to my factory wiring and installed Sylvania Silverstars and they work perfectly. Removing all the HID kit saved me about 20lbs.

Re: OBC Removal to Install New LED Light Bar
I figured there was something holding it in place. Thanks. Lucky for me, the car is at the body shop having some hit and run damage to the drivers side front bumper cover repaired. He is also taking out the instrument cluster to send to Bavarian Restoration for a full refurbish so might as well take...

I installed the Kenwood Excelon KDC X998. I like the one knob look similar to OEM. Also has an orange display. Lots of features like HD Radio, built in Bluetooth and automatic iPhone pairing. Pandora, IHeart Radio and SirousXM.

Sorry for the lengthy delay. Here's is what was done at the shop. This significantly tightened the steering at high speeds. I still need to replace the control arms as well have the steering pump replaced or rebuilt.

OBC Removal to Install New LED Light Bar
Hello, can the OBC just be pushed out from behind? If you remove the top portion inside the glove compartment, you can reach behind with your hand. I could feel the OBC with my hand and tried pushing out but no movement. Are their clips, screws holding it in place? If not I will have it done when th...

Hi Brucey, the car is still in winter storage for another month. I know the front suspension is newer including the sway bar. The upper and lower control arms are old as well as the bushings. Old steering pump as well with no leaks.

High Speed - Steering is Very Loose
Hello, during the past summer, I was going about 100MPH and I noticed the steering got very very loose. There was a lot of play in the steering at high speeds. I tried it a few times and noticed it when I got over 80MPH. Anything under 80PMG the steering is tight. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

Re: trunk lid drilling for euro spoiler x-post / bFc
I have struggled with this decision as well. I have a brand new spoiler and have left it off as I did not want to drill the trunk after new paint job. I decided to go with the 3 M auto tape after talking to an auto body technician who has used the tape on newer BMW's and other higher end sport cars....

Question on WINDOWS
When BMW rolled out the new 8 series in the 90's replacing the 6 series, there was a great feature with the windows. When you open the door, the window would come down maybe 1 inch. When you closed the door, the window would automatically close creating a tight seal... Does anyone know if this featu...

Hello Having some overheating issues. Seems to happen when in heavy traffic. As soon as I get some air to the front of the car the temp goes back to normal. Mechanic replace clutch fan as well as thermostat. Temp is still a bit high when the car sits and idles. Never reaches the red. Could it be the...
