FREE - stock 1989 635CSi front & rear brakes

Complete front & rear calipers, rotors, and pads. I converted to big brakes a few years ago and would like to get the originals out of the garage. Pickup in Culver City, CA.

Re: Changing steering wheel, Airbag to M Tech I

I switched to a MTech about a year ago and had a similar experience to @PTFunk. I stopped hitting the wiper stalk pretty quickly - for me the biggest adjustment is that the smaller wheel blocks the speedometer at most common speeds. It's a good thing that speed limits are mostly ignored where I live...

We were clearly meant to do business - we both joined bigcoupe on July 1, exactly a decade apart.

Re: Glovebox Flashlight

I've redone a bunch of them with NiMH and LEDs, and used Cyanoacrylate glue (generic Krazy Glue) to put them back together.

Re: How many of you are hams?

KM6GKU - our yacht club uses ham radio for regatta management. There's no particular hurry - I'd study and take one exam at a time. Most of the info you need to pass the tests isn't that useful, so learn what you need then put it out of your head afterwards.

Re: Positive experience with Germany Auto Radio Repair (Los Angeles)

I took my BMW branded Pioneer KE-83ZBM to Hernan at Germany Auto Radio Repair in North Hollywood to fix the touchy volume knob. He promised to have it ready the next day, but ended up calling a few hours later to say it was done. No more crackling and dead spots, and he fixed the backlight which I d...

Re: Style 5 Rims 16x8 ET 23

I have the same 7 series wheels on my 635CSi. Even though it did not appear to rub, out of an abundance of caution I have 3 mm spacers in the front.

This was the closest thread I could find to the problem I just experienced with an engine so enthusiastic that it refused to turn off. I bought a 1989 635CSi about a month ago and a week after I got it I turned off the ignition and removed the key, and was amazed to find it was still running. I pull...
