Hi Song, it's my understanding the round decal was used as a record of BMW recalls. I haven't found any info on the recalls represented by the punched out numbers. My 11/89 build 635CsiA has the number 4 punched. Hopefully some one can fill in the blanks. Roger

It looks great, brings the car more current. I would like to see the dash black. Front & rear consoles tan. Rear shelf and speakers great. I have a similar color combination, Havana brown seats, dash and tan consoles. Rear head rests as well. We're about an hour apart, I'm in Asheville.

Looking sharp! Do I see rear head rests? Post a photo of the rear seating area when you have a chance.

In the "A" column, they can be seen if you remove the speakers. This is the point at which you can extend the length of the tubing to daylight.

Re: Removing seat when motor is inoperable
The seat can be moved forward by pushing the seat base forward. Get into the rear seat, place your feet on the base and push until you clear the seat rail bolts. No damage of the gears will occur. Remember to remove the front rail bolts first or you'll block access with the seat being in the forward...

Re: Door chrome trim does not line up with the body
The glass may need to be adjusted. Does the glass fit into the body weather striping? Does the body weather stripping push on the glass. I recall a write up on the subject of adjusting the door glass alignment, in/out direction. I'll try to locate it.

Song, look into "life time alignment". Well worth it, I purchase the "life time" when I first got the car 2014 and used the service 4 or 5 times, just to make sure the alignment was correct. Roger

Song, you want to reconsider and replace all the components at one time. You'll need a wheel alignment. Bottom line, you'll have a better ride, save time and save a little money in the long run. Roger

I've added the additional brake lights. A universal bulb socket did not work out well for me. I proceeded to order BMW rear tail brake sockets from Ralph, with a little work they're in and looks as it came from the BMW factory as OE. Roger
