The mounting plate is welded? I would've thought it would be bolted like on most cars but I don't see any mounting mechanism from above and the edges don't have signs of welding.

The drawing doesn't help no as it doesn't include the plate.

Handbrake Lever Excessive Movement

So I've noticed a strange problem with my car. After I noticed my centre console had moved to the side I investigated and realised that the handbrake lever moves to the right as it goes up and that there is a lot of side to side movement with the centre console removed, it moves about 2 inches to th...

M30B35 1.3 engine loom

I'm looking for an M30B35 engine loom, preferably from a highline E24 but I'm open to what's available as I'll need to modify it either way. Must be from a B35 car though as it needs to be motronic 1.3

Let me know what you guys have.

Cheers.

WTB medium case output flanges

Hi,

I'm looking to buy some E28 era medium case diff output flanges, the larger 113mm ones. I have attached a photo of the face type I'm looking for as I know there are two kinds.

Re: M30B35 from a highline

Unfortunately that engine has the wrong mounts for the chassis, and I'd rather have a drop in. It's not massively urgent, apparently it needs to be either early E32 or E24 highline.

Re: Amazing E24 prices SEEM to be achieved on ebay UK

Yep, not uncommon in the UK, my 6 came with one, and it ain't no motorsport, it says ///M CSi on the boot. I just left it cause it's meaningless and until the boot lid is painted there's no point in risking paint damage. I've even seen someone go as far as fitting the full M3 body kit, exhaust syste...

Re: Blower Replacement with Bosch

Thanks, I have it all sorted now. Motor worked perfectly and found a guide on the benz forum with the boiling water trick. I recommend everyone uses these for replacement as it's worth a punt rather than wasting £250+ at the dealer for the same thing.

Blower Replacement with Bosch

So my heater blower started making a horrible noise and it seems it's finished as the shaft is moving all over the place. So I went online and found you can't get the Hella (BEHR) one anymore, but I found that on US ebay they list Bosch 0 130 063 013 as compatible and from the pictures it looks righ...

New Pioneer 6x4" Speakers on the market

I was just browsing on Pioneers website and noticed they have just recently released some new 6x4" speakers. They look better than most I've seen on the market recently and there aren't even any reviews yet. https://www.pioneer-car.eu/uk/products/ts-a4670f Maybe a decent punt? Worth a try for a...

Re: Won't Idle Low and Hesitates at High RPM

So I have a bit of an update, the car was tuned for it's MOT as it failed on emissions last month. The idle is now a little better but it needs more work. However I have since noticed an annoying issue, which is when it is in higher gear (4th and 5th) cruising around 1500-2500 rpm it hesitates and t...

Tie Rod Lever Arms (SORTED)

Hi, I'm looking for these (circled red in the picture), the tie rod lever arms (plates) that the front struts and suspension arms mount to as my right hand upper arm refuses to let it's ball joint go and even my mechanic couldn't get it off but all the others come off just fine. If anyone has these ...

Re: Won't Idle Low and Hesitates at High RPM

Do you know where I could read on the procedure you describe? Is it possible to be the ignition coil or module? Also I've noticed that although it runs at idle going up and down when you put load, like power steering is when it will stall without upping the idle speed? The power steering and brakes ...
