Re: Part of an M635.

I have no doubt that it is #186, now that you have confirmation. It's just that I was thrown by the vendor's reference in the eBay advert to the car being '88 or '89 G plate, which would make it a much later car.

Nice to hear from you - and I hope your recovery is going as well as can be expected..

Re: SOLD - UK RHD M635CSi #436

It’s back on the market again. £41k this time, although the vendor stresses the significant amount of recent work put into getting the bodywork into good condition.

Re: UK RHD M635CSi for sale

Not sure if it is #514, Ron. The original registration number for that car still throws up a Grey M635 which hasn't appeared on the MOT database since 2010 and 129k miles. The registration date tallies up too.

Guess it must be #497 then....

Re: UK M635CSi #410 FS on ebay.

#410, D786RWV, is back on the market for £21995 ono.

The description is a bit skimpy but it doesn't appear that much has been done since it last sold. The mileage hasn't increased much and it needs an MOT too.

Erm, is it just me, or has the M635CSi (M88) option disappeared from the Supersprint website?
I can only see the 628/635 (M30) options...….

Re: Contemplating returning to the fold

The CH and Hexagon cars have been on the market for an eternity and have yet to sell. If they were marked up at £19,995 then they would have sold by now so, yes, they are too expensive. Now that doesn't mean that the sticker price is necessarily what they're prepared to sell for though. A car trader...

Re: Contemplating returning to the fold

If you're genuinely considering the example currently up for sale with Classic Heroes, then you're obviously looking at something complete and in extremely good order, as opposed to an example of the M635CSi that needs bits replacing. Is, therefore, the availability of exterior & interior trim parts...

Service Indicator coverts to shift lights

No affiliation, and only assuming they'll work on an E24, but I thought this was a nifty little gadget.

Re: Starting with some new rims....

They’re certainly 2 piece, and they’re silicone sealed.

Because they’re designed to fit an E39 5 series, you’ll need to add a simple and cheap spigot ring to alter the hub diameter ever so slightly in order for them to fit snugly.

Countless E24 owners have chosen this path.

Re: Starting with some new rims....

Kos has a collection of high quality, period, hard-to-find rims. On his car currently are a set of ACT split rims which are a similar looking alternative to BBS RS. I can pretty much guarantee that he has never owned a set of Dares. I found myself in a very similar position to you, Bhart, a few year...

M88/3 Instructional Video

My German isn't up to much, and the porno soundtrack is a bit irritating, but this looks to me like an early 80's BMW instructional video, featuring guidance on valve and throttle-body adjustment amongst other things. I love it also as a reference for how a pristine M88/3 should really look like. ht...

Re: World's lowest mileage M635? E24 even?

Anybody found out the price yet, or what the PO sold it to them for? What about selling to US residents only due to a "buy-back policy"? I think its a shame that this car is destined to be kept in storage for all of its life and will probably never ever be driven again :( Just stumbled over this ol...

I work for various auto manufacturers on events. It’s all rather tedious stuff - best not to dwell on it really.

So, what “upgrades” are we talking about, Bobbo? Sounds rather intriguing....

Re: how many 635's have you encounter? (Encountered)

Regrettably Bobbo, any free time I have to meet up at Monterey Car Week is restricted as I’m there to work, not play.
Duty called elsewhere on the day of LOTA, so had to miss it that one.

This year, perhaps?
