Re: Get Well Soon, Ron

It is no small relief to hear some positive news.

I suppose if anybody is game for a major mechanical overhaul, it's gonna be Ron. Fingers crossed he's soon back on the road, clocking up many, many more miles.

Just read this, so thank you for making us aware Rob.

I’m desperately hoping Ron and his family receive the news we all want them to this Christmas.

Petrolicious Film - M635CSi Cameo

I do rather like a Petrolicious movie, even though they tend to feature Porsches more often than not. This is yet another 911 film, redeemed by the cameo appearance of an M635CSi driver catching the attention of the Belgian police. Fast forward to 5:22 mins to get straight the good stuff. https://pe...

No. 144 went into the auction at £22k - but didn't fetch any bids and passed through unsold.

Re: UK M635CSi #144 for auction with CCA in December est, £28-32k

That thread on #144 makes for interesting reading, as does a trawl through Bispal's posts, which identify the trials and tribulations he endured with this car (e.g. draughty dashboard!). I have not seen it, but did speak of it to the chief mechanic shortly after it went through the workshop at 4Star...

Re: Custom TRX Wheels

This adaptation of a "bottle cap" to a split rim is becoming popular now, and I have to say I think they look fantastic. A perfect fusion of originality and a contemporary custom look.

Nice work, fella.

Re: 17" BBS RS Staggered WANTED!!!

I myself underwent a similar, and extensive search a couple of years back, with very little success. The set up you are looking for is going to be extremely hard to find in the UK. Therefore may I suggest two ebay sellers who are Hungary based? Names are "cs9_felgen" and "rarewheels2015". Both are h...

Hey Pod. This £4k retrim you refer to.
Do you know who did it, what the work was like and how satisfied the customer was?

Re: FS - UK RHD M635CSi #126

I cannot take any credit, OzBmwnut. A kindly member of “Aussie Sharks - E24” (which presumably is the group you belong to) made mention of this car to me. The rest was easy. No doubt the presence of #126 in Australia will be announced more vocally in the not too distant future. My guess is that a bu...

Re: My L6

English comic actor Terry—Thomas. Prolific in 50’s& 60’s playing his trademark stereotypical upper-middle-class rogue/bounder/cad character.

In the 70’s he found great success in the States, in movies, commercials, chat shows etc.

I’d really appreciate a picture of your mats if you would be so kind.

Hey Jono, Forgive me if I am stating the obvious and you know this already, (because it took me a while to figure out), but are you aware that the hood light only works when your headlights are switched on? Also, I’d be interested to know a little more about the mats you sourced in Germany. Take car...

Pistonheads Article - 635CSi en France.

Thankfully, forum member "scrof" and UK motoring journalist Alex Robbins has been at it again, posting another article on Pistonheads featuring his 635CSi. This time he's been touring France, and thoroughly enjoying himself and the car by the sound of things. I never knew about Paul Bracq's place in...

126 has re-emerged.

In Australia.

It's just gone through auction in Melbourne and made AUS 33k.
