Re: Ignition Switch
I recently ordered a new ignition switch for my '85 M635CSi (part number 1 371 094.1) from my local BMW dealer. Came in next day.

FS UK RHD M635CSi #286
Offered just recently by Classic Heroes, this is just one of three RHDs in Lapis Blue, and the only one with cloth upholstery, which I REALLY like. Looks cracking, interesting history, three previous owners and a mere 19k miles. No wonder the asking price is £115,000. https://www.classicheroes.co.uk...

Re: Heater only works on full.
There is a wealth of information on this site about this very common problem. Here is a source that I used to fix mine. https://bigcoupe.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=237607&hilit=normgrills#p237607 Scroll down to Normgrills.net Technical Library. Open that, then look at pages 159-161. I used them ...

FS - UK RHD M635CSi #515
Another Northern Ireland car that's been in the shadows for many years it seems. Currently at 167.9k miles. Cirrus Blue with Black, currently on NI Reg plate DKZ3795. Was originally F619WAD. Looks like a LOT of work to get this up and running and to a decent cosmetic standard. £23.5k being asked. ht...

Re: Are these original wheels?
As the values of M635CSi's continue to rise, (certainly in Europe at least) and with ever diminishing quantities of these very rare BBS RS007s, I can't help but wonder if these wheels will only become more desirable and therefore more valuable to collectors, if left as standard spec?

Re: FS - UK RHD M635CSi #362 or 363?
If it is indeed one of those two, I'd say it's 363, as I understand 362 is sitting in South London lock-up garage.
This same eBay vendor was selling 380 a few weeks back. This also was a significant restoration project - but possibly not as daunting as this one....

Re: Are these original wheels?
The original BBS RS007 metric wheels fitted to the M635CSi definitely had black bolts, and a BMW badge.

Re: Are these original wheels?
The original problem was sealant failure. However, I presume that modern sealant materials are more effective today.
I have a restored set of original metric BBS RS 007s on my car, and they are perfectly safe.

It's number 380, Pod.
I think it's as bad, if not worse, than number 182 rotting outside Classic Heroes right now.

C136RJR has recently appeared on ebay. Arctic blue with a Pearl Beige leather interior, although I understand it may originally have been Pacific Blue inside. It's currently located outdoors in a graveyard on the premises of specialist Classic Heroes in Sussex UK. I saw it there last year, and it wa...

Re: FS - UK RHD M635CSi #181
Yeah, too raised an eyebrow at the "heavily undersealed" body with "no visible corrosion". But then again, nothing a good tap with a screwdriver won't discover. I think any prospective buyer must factor in new/replacement tyres - three of those 240/45/415 TRXs are the Michelin's ...
