There appear to be no plans in the pipeline for BMW to address this unfortunately.

Re: Cruise Control Wiring Diagram

Great, many thanks TN_M6. I understand it's a cruise control system taken from a series 1 car according to Pod, now being fitted to a series 2 car. Looking on http://wedophones.com/Manuals/BMW/ would you agree this manual being the best for reference: http://wedophones.com/Manuals/BMW/1987%20BMW%20L...

Cruise Control Wiring Diagram

As per the topic subject I'm looking for a wiring diagram for a cruise control system I bought from Pod a few years back. I have only just got round to fitting it on my M635 and understand it came from a series 1 car but unsure if an M635 or 635. I have all parts required but wondered if anyone has ...

1982 car sold for £34,320 - is that a new record for a non M? There seems to be no hold up with classic car prices at the moment. Not 6er related, but the Citroen 2CV made £7,480.... ? I'm not up to date with 2CV prices but to me that seems a lot.. http://www.classiccarauctions.co.uk/1986-citreon-2c...

Sold. No idea if it made the £33,995.00 asking price but could be a sign the market is strengthening even for higher mileage cars. Glad you got a sale Bob but I can't help but think it was a low price when compared to others recently sold? Surely this must show that the recent eBay spares or repair car that sold for £11,100  was boosted by non genuine bids: http://bigcoupe.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=28396 The mar...

Re: Engine overhaul or not ?

hornhospital, thanks. Yes it's Misano as Soperman points out. I tend to agree with you both, the wheel finish does look a little too modern for the E24, however I thought I'd keep them as they are for a little while to see if they grow on me before maybe having them refinished in the original colour...

Re: CC Auctions: 1985 BMW M635 CSi, Schwarz

I simply don't get how this car sat in the classifieds through much of last year at £45k I was thinking exactly the same thing. However if I remember correctly M6 Chris's car didn't sell that quickly, and I felt it went for much less than it was actually worth, considering all the work that went in...

Re: Engine overhaul or not ?

Many thanks Brucey. Good news then; the timing chain was replaced by the PO at 100k and I had a comp test and leakdown done last year with a clean bill of health. I did toy with the idea of sending the head away to be ported and polished but have now decided to leave it as is. sharkfan it's an M88/3...

Engine overhaul or not ?

Looking for some advice please. The engine is now out of my car, being cleaned up and painted. A couple of people have suggested now would be a good opportunity to do some internal reconditioning work/part replacement on the engine whilst it's out, others say that as it has 'only' done just over 100...

Re: Honey, i think i shrunk the leather....

Can you not try taking the seats out of the car, cleaning and then feeding them with leather conditioner/reviver, placing them in a black bin liner for 12-24hrs and then repeating the process until the leather becomes more supple? They may however be too far gone and/or require new foam padding.

Thanks guido, sad times! Bob Indeed. Sorry to read of the changes made, I hope all works out well for you. I did email you about a potential sale a year or so ago when you were then toying with the idea but I guess it went to junk mail and I have since joined the fold. Best of luck with the auction...
