Re: ABS light on
Hi again. I've sorted a company that make reluctor rings for the rear for the e24; if they are the same for the m635 (96 teeth) then they should be good. I asked if they have any for the front and the reply was so long as the set-up is the same the rear ones should fit the front. Does anybody know i...

Thanks for your replies. BMW don't have reluctor rings. Will try sensors and look at rings. Emmanuel

Re: ABS light on
Thanks very much for getting back. Both gear suppliers ask for the 3rd gear tooth count and if it is mechanical or electrical. Mine is a UK 1985 M635; any ideas please? Emmanuel

Re: S38 ignition wiring set
Fitted new leads today and everything good. Sports ones are cheaper and I would have got them if the seller was more definite about suitability; but if you want to keep things original and use the wire tube, this is the set for you. Thanks for your help as always. Emmanuel

Re: S38 ignition wiring set
Thanks for getting back. I did see a sports set on eBay but when I quizzed the seller re compatibility he was a bit vague. I bought a set for £373 from a manufacturer called intermotor. I haven't fitted them yet but will let you know.

S38 ignition wiring set
Greetings all hope you and yours and your rides are good. I've had two no starts because of the coil lead to my ignition lead set. I have been told I need a new set. BMW no longer make it. I've looked at aftermarket ones which say they are suitable for my BMW 1985 M635 but when I put in the chassis ...

Polish for polished BBS RS wheels
I was recommended a polish for my wheels called Zeppelin. It's only available from heritage steam supplies and costs £28 for a small bottle; but it doesn't take a lot to leave your wheels gleaming. Recommended

Thank you very much for getting back. To be fair we didn't give the glue enough time to cure as I had to drive the car home. Notwithstanding, I will try the windscreen glue and let you know how I get on. Emmanuel

E24 wing mirror
After a respray I was left with some fitting issues. I drove my car from the garage after having taken it back for 'snagging'; as I hit the motorway my nearside mirror glass fell out and was only retained by the heater wire. The male connectors were broken off. My good friend, also with a 6, removed...

Greetings hope you and your cars are all well. Got some spark plugs for my M6, came without tops. Got some tops online as per Brucey link, fit o.k but are slightly larger than the ones on the bosch plugs I have currently. Re: Fuel pump in boot floor m6
Greetings Bru6e hope you are well and your car is o.k. Bruce, can you tell me if the inline pump and in tank pump are the same? Reason I ask is I already had a spare inline pump and I ordered an in tank one, it arrived today and it's the same as the one I have. The invoice says in tank, but the box ...

Re: Rear brake discs
Thanks for your response which is most appreciated. I have cleaned the rotors with a cup brush and that's taken the rust off. So do you actually spray the discs themselves and do you use normal spray paint? I assume it doesn't affect braking. Peace.
