Re: Cranks but Won't start - Got Spark, Fuel, Compression
Sorry I was referring to the combo relay. My mechanic replaced it with another one he had in a parts car. We also noticed some metal shavings in the distributor after removing the rotor and the plastic plate. Will replace the distributor with another used one to see if it starts.

Cranks but Won't start - Got Spark, Fuel, Compression
I was out driving my 1980 Euro 635csi when it just quit waiting at a red light. Cranked it however it did not start and finally had to get it towed to the shop. The mechanic checked the fuel pump that we had replaced few months back and found good fuel pressure, then checked the coil which was also ...

Re: High Idle
I installed new hose on FPR today. During cold start everything was fine. I switched the car off and started it again works great. Left it for few minutes and then same issues like before. I need to tap on the accelerator pedal to get it going. Then I removed the connector on the TPS and now the car...

Re: High Idle
I adjusted the butterfly as suggested and checked the gap between the bore and butterfly with a spark plug feeler gauge. It started up with a slightly high idle so I adjusted the throttle bypass screw to lower it a bit. After it warmed up it started to idle well so further adjusted the bypass screw ...

High Idle
I would like some advice regarding my euro 1980 635csi M90. The car idles high and when I adjust the throttle bypass to lower the idle it stalls after you accelerate and leave the pedal. There is a drop in RPM from 1200 to 800 and then it stalls. I have changed all vacuum hoses, boots, replaced all ...

M tech steering wheel issue
Hey guys, I recently bought an M-tech coarse spline steering wheel on ebay for my '79 Euro spec 635 - problem is, even though the wheel fits, it sits about 1" away from the steering column where it should connect with the horn ring. How can I fill in that gap and make the horn work as well as m...
