Re: BAT: 81.5 for a Euro M6 64.5K for a Bavaria
Both were spectacular cars. The m635 doesn't surprise me, but I agree that the Bavaria was a big number. I would have guessed that it would be in the $20-30k range.

That announcement is for NEW cars. By 2035, I doubt very many manufacturers will be making any cars that run on fossil fuels. Existing cars, and classic cars will still be bought, sold and driven.

Re: Anyone know the dates for 2020 Pacific Sharkfest?
Yeah, everyone starts planning vacations around this time of year, so we're trying to block some time. There are now 5 of us in the Portland area who have e24s, and are ready to make the trip from Oregon. The locations north of SFO are definitely better for us. If it's Paso Robles, that definitely a...

Re: What to do with 1983 BMW 745 Euro???
Looks like a complete car, and in decent shape, my vote would be to keep it intact. You might do better than $3500 when you are done. E23s are cool cars, there are not many 745s around.

I wouldn't trust it to save you a ticket, but it would look great in your car at a car show. Period correct. Don't trade it in.

Re: Master Cylinder replacement, e24 or e32?
I found this MC on amazon. Someone knows if these one will fit my 635 csi? Thanks. https://www.amazon.com/URO-Parts-34-156-643/dp/B0066QURE6/ref=sr_1_1?__mk_es_US=ÅMÅŽÕÑ&keywords=34311156643&qid=1561468846&s=gateway&sr=8-1 Yes, that is the e32 MC that will work. I opted to go with t...

Re: Master Cylinder replacement, e24 or e32?
I wasn't really planning to do the full brake upgrade, but since the master cylinder was done, I started thinking about it. Last weekend was 50% off at my local Pick-n-pull, and they had an e32 and e34. I went out there and the full brake system was still intact on both cars. So I got all the parts ...

Re: Master Cylinder replacement, e24 or e32?
Swapped my master cylinder today. Definitely plug and play. I haven't really noticed much difference in terms of performance, but I've only driven it around the neighborhood so far. I'm glad I went with the e32 MC so I can do the full brake upgrade at some point.

Master Cylinder replacement, e24 or e32?
I have something going on with my brakes. The brakes are not fully releasing when I let off the pedal. The condition is intermittent, and based on some threads I've read here on Big Coupe, it sounds like a common problem with the MC. I'm going to replace the MC. I still have the original e24 caliper...

Do you have the lower trim piece that goes on the rocker panel? If so, what kind of condition is it in?

Re: Whos e24 has a broken odometer? Odometer gears here!
@Garagistic first of all, thanks for shipping out the other gear quickly and at a reasonable price. From what I've experienced and seen in this thread, you do respond quickly to customers, and take care of issues that are raised. Second, with regards to the 19/48 being the most common, I'm curious i...

Re: Whos e24 has a broken odometer? Odometer gears here!
I ended up taking apart another speedometer that I had on the shelf, swapped the parts and everything worked perfectly (except that instead of having new gears, I now have 30 year old working gears). I checked the miles against a GPS app, and I was spot on. Now after wasting an entire evening in the...

Re: Whos e24 has a broken odometer? Odometer gears here!
Well I can't say that I'm a fan of the Garagistic gears at this point. Is odometergear.com a different company? Maybe I will buy gears from them. I installed and removed my speedometer 4 times tonight. When I assemble the first gear everything is very smooth, but the time I get all the gears togethe...
