OK...so...it's been a pretty fast year and I've not said much but I bought the car! It took quite a bit to sort out the woes of why she would not start. BTW…the current owner admitted to putting the exhaust system on with a Cat…this is at least the 3rd exhaust system I'd say from the evidence.

So what is your best estimate on this engine….even though the spec sheet says S38 I've heard from others that say that seems to be what is listed for all these cars. What other method (other than rocker box cover) can I use to identify the M88 vs. S38 engine?

The spot seen on the edge of the trunk lid is the only place I can find any corrosion and it appears to originate from under the spoiler. We've look the underside over pretty thoroughly and she hasn't been driven in harsh environments as we can see. Any and all comments welcome…no thin skin here…let...
