Re: WTB chrome pass mirror
I don't know if you still need one but I have one, beautiful in fact, working motor. From an '86. If you want pictures let me know. Sorry I missed this, I bought this last year in case my fixes on mine went south (that moment with the glass getting it free with one of these is a bit of a stunner). T...

Roger Yep that's the one. Pm sent. I now have a long one it definitely will not fit in my tank. But it would turn the o...

Re: WTB windshield washer fluid level sensor '86 635 csi
That one is for the deeper tank on the Euro cars, but you can buy a new, non-OEM sensor for your US tank here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/BMW-E24-E30-E31E32-E34-E36-Z3-Windshield-Washer-Fluid-Level-Sensor-VEMO-/360801384831 Hey Dean..thanks of course. You know more about these cars than I ever will. B...

It says Mera and 1367651 on the top of it. It looks like this but this is too long, the part is only 5 inches. But the pins to the far left are the correct connections. I'm in Chandler az.

Re: San Diego BMW Meet
I forgot....San Diego! Well, Escondido, a valley through a citrus farm at 3,000 feet. There were a lot of nice mountainscapes, but not many good areas to pull off, once I nearly went off the mountain trying to get a shot. https://www.dropbox.com/s/sksv9liajzlhty4/File%20Dec%2018%2C%208%2030%2...

Re: Vintage PFAFF Twin Turbo setup..
Money is worth about 2.4 times less, which means a $3,995 set up in 1981 dollars is about $9,500 now.
If that's without labor, wow. I bought a new car that year that that price was more than half of.

Re: Pair of sharks at ABQ BMWCCA event last weekend
Thanks! Having someone else like your car of course is worth a lot, since as everyone here knows these cars can on occasion be tough to keep on the road. One does not own an e24 so much as one is its caretaker. But they respond to detailing well...here it actually rained like crazy while I was detai...

Re: Question for the experts re:us wing mirror
The pivot screw is on a spring, some you press it in and use a pry tool to turn it and you can reattach this hinge with the wires in place. Loctite holds in place. Result !

Question for the experts re:us wing mirror
Tried looking for this...I now have an extra passenger (right) side mirror that looks pretty good except for one thing...it is not attached at the bend hinge. There is a nut liked extension on the lower part that is attached to the side triangle. But I do not see what it screws into on the main mirr...

Curious about trunk partitions.
I want a partition like this part number, 51471900261 http://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/part?id=5361-EUR---E24-BMW-635CSi&mg=51&sg=65&diagId=51_1736&q=51471900261 But oddly enough my cars realoem listing disagrees with me, it recommends the 882. I've looked here and there was one threa...

Re: BMW car collection for sale
I hate to admit this but I agree with you on the e30m3. I'm old enough to have actually owned BMWs (an e21 and a 2002) back during that era, and I test drove one and...well it was certainly okay, but I preferred my tii. The opinion was sealed in the service waiting area of the local dealership where...

My friend if I could get them to work on them I would. Other car seats come in, they work on those, I'm at six weeks and counting. I've been pretty nice but I'm a six four Irishman and being patient is not my long suit.

Re: FS: BMW e24 Dashboard (Almost Crack Free)
It's the going rate but yeah, it's high, I know. Didnt mean it in a bad way...you guys might be luckier up there and in places like NorCal. My car loved it up there, cool, right amount of humidity. Down here the dashes crack and they are NLA, it's tough to even find a beat up e24 dash. I have one as...

I don't think you should ever sell* that car, it is worth more than my essentially worthless but lovable E24. If I wasn't redoing my interior this week and sitting on a garage worth of spares for my Six I would have loved to buy that car. ](*,) *(Even trade for an e39 M5? ) Actually I would e...
