Sense8 Shark
Anyone notice the nice Shark driven by Felix in the season finale of Sense8? Never seen a Shark used in the movies or TV ... I am sure they’ve been used but this was the first one I noticed!!

Re: What did you do to your E24 today?
Had my Shark out for a 100 mile spin yesterday. The weather here in NJ had cleared the road salt (lots of rain) with a cloudy but dry day yesterday. She sure is a thrill to drive!

Odometer Intermittent ... ?
I noticed that my odometer sometimes stops. It seems to work and stop working randomly. The speedometer works consistently, but the odo does not. Am I in for an instrument cluster removal in order to repair? I thought it might be the speedo cable but with he speedo working while the odo stops, I am ...

Re: SLS Troubleshooting Tips?
Jay - I finally got around to implementing the tests you suggested. But ... as de-coupled the electrical connections I noticed that they were pretty oily and dirty perhaps from some past fluid leak. I cleaned everything up, started the engin and immediately heard the pump cycling. It didn't run long...

Re: SLS Troubleshooting Tips?
JCS - again, thanks a ton. Before I try too "cycle" the pump I am going to drain the reservoir - the fluid is "black" and does not look healthy ... and I think I'd rather waste a little on new fluid than run the risk of cycling some really bad fluid thru the pump. But - thanks ag...

Re: SLS Troubleshooting Tips?
Ok first "dumb" question ... is the relay in the trunk well attached to the pump?
Second dumb question ... could you please confirm whether or not there is any sort of connection between the SLS hydraulics and the brakes on the 1989 635?

Re: SLS Troubleshooting Tips?
JCS - Awesome - Thanks so much! I am on the fence about changing everything out or attempting some repair ... so your guidance is much appreciated and will definitely help me figure things out! Bought this car from the original owner and its in pretty good shape for its age and mileage. It had been ...

Re: On Board Computer Issue
Jay - thank-you. The light bar seems to "glow" when I turn on the ignition ... but I see your point.

On Board Computer Issue
The On Board Computer in my 1989 635csi is not working. The display seems to "glow" a little with the ignition "on" but nothing is displayed. I also noticed that the red light on the MPH button doesn't illuminate if I press it. I bought this car from the original owner with 240k ...
