Congrats. It looks good (I think). Need a larger picture or link to a larger picture... :D Right click and save to your desktop then you can manipulate with whatever software you have........a bit low res but you can see the detail. Great job, I love threads like this resulting in a 'build' =D> Do ...

Is this way overpriced or have I made a massive mistake selling my M635CSi recently.........Could have restored it for £12K to a better condition and less mileage than this one using third parties! Not a Motorsport though - do they really demand such a premium?

That one was offered for sale from one of the 'usual' outlets recently - I distinctly remember the 80's aerial's and rear/sill body kit - dislike both features, ruins the lines of the car

Unless its essential that you have to sell I would keep it.......you have obviously put a lot of time and money into the car and it sounds like you have improved it but still have the original bits if required. The value of the M635CSi is only going up.........I just sold mine, which was a project c...

I personally wont use tyres that are more than 5 years old - especially not on a performance car, even if they have been stored for the last three years. Tyre companies don't recommend it (no surprise there really), Insurance companies will use 'out of date tyres' as an excuse not to pay out (again ...

Re: DOHC Comparison M vs Porsche et al

........ but why does the M demand relatively higher prices over the Porsches and VW Corrados, et al? For me the answer is simple the M635CSi engine (never driven a US M6) is a fabulous piece of engineering, free revving, oodles of torque and pulls like a train to the redline. Back in the day the M...

M635CSi for sale.......plus bits! SOLD

Update 4th October: Car sold but parts still available...... After some soul searching it has become obvious that I don't have the time or the facilities to restore my M635CSi. I purchased the car 9 or 10 years ago and used it as my daily driver initially. It required bodywork and some tidying which...

I think Lewis runs a slightly different brake bias to Nico and he can handle the 'squirmy' rear a bit better with a bit more rear brake which takes away the tendency for front lock ups. Having said that, no ABS, no traction control all that torque......they must be a bit of a handful! I do admire th...

I agree Brucey - Lewis has been plagued by 'tech issues' which seem to have been resolved on Nico's side of the garage.... :-k I was just surprised by the nature of the missed turns - no puff of brake dust, no lock up, no attempt to make the corner then pull out, in fact the second time he wasn't ev...

Unless.... Rosberg winning would all but scupper Hamiltons chances, and make the rest of the season boring, meaning less coverage and press attention for Mercedes. This way, it keeps the season alive. The first time Nico missed the chicane I was amazed, as he is normally so precise. The second time,...

AFAIK there will be no problem importing your car here, although the Scottish weather and winters won't be kind to an old E24. Shark fan is correct, the local council people use a lot of road salt in the winter when the temps drop, doesn't have to be snowing, which is not good for older cars. Your ...

It looks in period with mine in that it has the earlier type spoiler and no indicators on the wings (fenders). I would have been convinced by now if it was me! Note that the team have announced that they're negotiating with Hamilton to extend his contract, although I think he has 18 months left to run? It'll be interesting to see if he stays and what happens after the break. Maybe they'll kick him out early...
