Does anyone have a blind plug (black plastic), there are two of them, that is near the top of the hood on the underside? You will see the two of them when the hood is open. I need one. The wording on the other one that is in place, is GPN 300.

88 M6 Lotus interior. I am looking to replace the driver's side door interior trim where the grab bar and armrest is. Any color leather is fine, the interior is being re-dyed Lotus back to the original Lotus.

On the 88 M6 and the 88 M5 I have used for many years the Adam's Polish product Super VRT repellent and dressing. Just layer in on with a microfiber towel and let it soak in. It may take a few coatings and let each soak in before reapplying. See adamspolishes.com Their waxes and glazes are great too...

I have a 88 M6, the original shift knob is black leather with an insert showing the shift pattern only, no M strips or similar that you often see on a M6 meaning it was replaced.

You might also try looking for the same from a 88 M5, check mye28.com. I have both cars and the M5 compartment is very similar, uses same battery, just black versus grey covering, which you could replace.
