ABS light now goes out

So I’m feeling very content and quite proud of myself, why? I’ve put up with the service light being on and not going out when connecting no7 to earth and my ABS light not going out for a long time . I finally got round to taking the instrument pod out and changing out the rechargeable batteries.I w...

Re: Heater valve wanted uk

Happy chap today, I fitted a repair kit in the heater valve, and.......it works 😁😁😁😁😁
Nice not to have hot air all the time, I got nice cold air blowing and graduated heat, just in time for winter
Now to tackle the blower, it’s either off or on full
Thanks for all the advice

Re: What did you do to your E24 today?

Reset the service light using a test lamp as detailed on this fantastic site, I've only had the car a short while and so far have found this site invaluable.
Thanks to all who contribute

Heater what's it doing?

Hi, it's probably been covered already but my heads nipping with trawling through all the posts so I'm just gonna ask. From start up the heater blows very hot when it's set to cold then after driving 10 miles it then blows cold ( correctly) also the temp gauge reads zero then after a while snaps to ...

Re: New to E24, just bought this

Yes Pod, the car was on eBay same time last year but the owner pulled it because he couldn't bear to sell the car at that time so he spent 1200£ on welding etc. ( done by a local garage) To get it thru a test. His missus made him sell it this year. I just caught it on eBay and due to the fact that I...

Thanks Mark Shutt, that's the pump working now, another small victory along with the doors shutting nicely now by fitting the little plastic caps to the door strikers, shuts like new, very pleased :D

New to E24, just bought this

Hi all, this is my first post on here, I just bought this 85 e24, 71000 miles, looks pretty clean, just a few issues so far which I'm in the process of sorting out. ABS problems, I've got reluctor rings on order, I'll probably end up changing out the sensors too, Mbe see how I get on after fitting t...
