When I pull the hood release lever on my 1988 635 the hood does not pop-up. I have to insert a plastic tool between the hood and the cowling to lift the hood enough to get my fingers in the slot. Has anyone dealt with this?

Never mind, I found the answer.

I have a 1987 635, the electric mirrors have gotten very crunchy and sometimes will not move at all. I've taken the lens out but the motor is covered by a rubber boot. Can anyone tell me how to lubricate the motor?

Still no pin numbers. I know the wheel speed sensors, 4 6, 21 23, 7 9, 24 26. I haven't looked closely at the connector hopefully the pins are numbered.

Thanks for the post, I've looked at this diagram. What I would like is a picture of the pin layout on the controller or cable. I went to BMW-planet.net but no e24. Any idea where I might find such?

I'm looking for a pin layout diagram on the cable that connects to the ABS controller.

I have a 19887 635CSI when you release the parking brake lever the light in the dash dims but stays on. When I look at the wiring schematic it shows the light is also connected to a couple of pressure sensors, has anyone experienced this problem?
