Re: 6 months in.

Song, it sounds like your daily drive is a little bit of heaven each and every day. Thank You for the kind words as I plan on enjoying this car until its time to leave this earth.

6 months in.

Today marks the sixth month of ownership of my 1986 635csi. This BMW had sat since 1992 so she was in need of a lot of attention. Re: New guy here!

Very nice. what I have learned from my 6 months of ownership so far is that E24 people are a lot like vintage air cooled VW people, very nice, enthusiastic, helpful and love the whole Shark community.

Fuel Leak.

I have slowly been putting this 1986 635csi back together after it has sat since 1992. I replaced a lot of items as did the previous owner. Changed the inline pump, the pre pump and the fuel filter. Installed a new Maf,coolant sensor, all new coolant hoses, vacuum lines, plugs, plug wires, cap and rotor...

The owner is in his late 60s and has about 25 various models of BMWs and Mercedes. several 2002tii, a 1979 735 with a m...

Re: Conundrum of the day... Motronic...

I am now going to start looking into this and why mine isnt getting awesome mileage. Thanks for occupying my weekend...
