Air con compressor for 1989 highline in the UK?

Hi, does anyone have any idea please where I might source an air con compressor for a 1989 highline in the UK and price? (i believe it was converted to R134a) or alternatively someone who might have a go at a rebuild on the current one, if there is much point in trying? Basically it cuts out after a...

Not sure if it can be booked exclusively, does look ace though and seems like interesting cars routinely visit the place. They've got a facebook page, they seem to have a soft spot for Porsche and BMW

Re: Classic Car Show NEC 9/10/11 Nov.

I am Midlands based, south Staffordshire, 2 suggestions for a possible meet:
- RAF Cosford (only costs a few quid to park the car)
- A new 'car cafe' has opened up near stratford on avon, see caffeineandmachine.com

Could give it some further thought if there are some specific criteria/requirements

Re: Bilstein B6 rear shocks no bump stops

Thanks Brucey, I thought as much, it is perplexing but I suppose they can still fit protection tubes and bump stops now? The car has only done about 40 dry miles since it was done. Can both be sourced from BMW and do you know parts numbers for these by any chance? Also, would the bump stops need to ...

Bilstein B6 rear shocks no bump stops

I have had a suspension refresh with new bilstein shocks (B6) and springs (not lowered at all). I know the front shocks have internal bump stops but the rears would require external bump stops (which I understand bilstein don't supply?). The garage in their wisdom decided not to fit any bump stops a...

Re: Bilstein B6 on a 1989 Highline

Thanks, yes it's a UK car. Can't tell if realoem tells me it has sls or just lists every part that could possibly be on the car. I don't know if anyone on here has been to a decent UK specialist to refresh tired suspension?

Bilstein B6 on a 1989 Highline

Please excuse if this is a naïve question but I am lacking in technical knowledge, I have an '89 Highline with all original suspension parts, which need a refresh big time. Should Bilstein B6/HD with Bilstein B3 springs fit on existing mounts or will I need a host of additional parts? I can't see th...
