Wow.
If anyone ever asks me what happens when you try and sell your car after eight pints of cider I'm just going to show them this!!

E24 Doors and Windscreen. Oxford, UK
Going cheap as I need them out the lockup, Pair of doors. One has green tint glass and window mech, the other is fairly bare (no window mechanism). As you can see from the photos, the frames are rusty along the bottom but the skins are excellent, rust free and straight. I'm just trying to be honest ...

Re: ron (positive)
Another Shout out to Ron.
Sorted me out with a good replacement pair of Shadowline door handles for a very agreeable price, after I busted one of mine whilst removing it.
Thank you so much for your help, look forward to meeting up and talking six's over a brew soon.

Shadowline door handle- Left hand side.
After the above for my 1986 628. Be very very careful when removing these. I broke off one of the top metal tangs when doing so. I've tried to TIG weld it back together, but (unusually for BMW) the whole thing is made from quite poor quality cast alloy, making that almost impossible. I'm in the UK b...

Underfloor soundproofing sections (UK)
Hi All,
After the above for my 1986 628csi restoration.
I am happy to consider buying from the US if shipping is not too prohibitive.
Alternatively can anybody suggest any aftermarket products that would serve the same purpose? as close to OE spec as possible.
Many thanks
David

Re: Windscreen replacement
Thanks for the tips, Ron.
I intend on fitting it myself, with some assistance of course.
Can you recommend a sealant? Thanks, David.

Windscreen replacement
Morning folks, I will soon be replacing the front windscreen in my 628. The old one got smashed, I'm just in the process of killing the rust bubbles on the aperture. Does anywhere apart from BMW sell the screen rubber, for less than the ~£145 that they are asking? Alternatively, I have the original ...

E34 5 series Shocks and springs
Good Morning all, Does anybody know whether or not a full set, front and rear, of the above will fit on my 1986 628csi? I have fitted E34 front struts, dampers, top mounts and hubs to my E28 successfully in the past. I am about to Trawl Realoem but just wondered whether or not anybody had done this ...

Green tint Door glass to exchange...
A slightly unorthodox request,
I have a Left hand side (UK passenger side / Near side) door window glass in green tint.
I would like to straight swap it for a brown tint item.
Can anybody help me out?
Thanks
David

1986 628CSi Restoration
In January this year I took this for its MOT, as usual. 1986 520i. My brother and I dragged it out of a barn around ten years ago when we were teenagers, and returned it to the road. I daily'd it for about three or four years, but she lives in a barn and only comes out on sunny days now. I've had th...
