Si board batteries
Hi, and thank you in advance. I have 2 questions for 2 issues I’m having. I have a 1985 e24 that I’m rebuilding. 1. I’ve removed the Instrument Cluster to fix the Odom Gear and also removed the SI board batteries, but the connectors broke. Can I drive the car without the batteries, what would it do,...

Thank you, but I don’t think they’ll drop anymore. These are sports, and not race springs. They did drop the car by 1.5...

Re: Technical question about suspension.
Hi, I’ve just updated the suspension on my 85 e24 with new arms, and BIlsteins shocks and H&R lowering springs. My problem is that they were out of stock of the B8 shocks and I had to use B8 in the rear and B6 in the front. Now the front is sitting too high. The rears are perfect. I read on Bil...

E24 wheels
Hi, I was wondering if someone can enlighten me. I have not been able to find BBS style rims to fit the e24. The one I found has a front offset of 30mm, and the rear of 20mm. 17x8.5 and 17x9.5. I was told that they would not fit. Has anyone come across this set up?. I just did the H&R springs bu...

Door lock question.
Hi, I’m having an issue with the driver’s side door locking system. First, I can’t lock door with key, and when I lock with the trunk lock, I’m able to lock both the trunk and the passenger’s side door, but it immediately unlocks. It doesn’t stay locked. Anybody have any ideas?. I’m thinking to be t...

AC/Heater Blower Motor Transistor.
Hi, I have an issue in which I have not been able to find a solution for it. My 85 E24 has the AC Blower Motor gone. The only one working is the Heater Motor inside the Bonnet. My problem is that the Heater Blower Motor only works on high, which I pin pointed it to the Transistor right behind it. No...

Re: AC/Blower issue.
Thank you Brucey. I've found out that the problem is with the AC Blower under the dash/console. I took it out and put it directly to the battery but it doesn't move. also, can I replace the AC Blower motor with the Main Blower motor?. I live in Florida and we don't use the heat. Thanks.

AC/Blower issue.
Hi, I was wondering if someone has seen this issue. The Blower Motor only works on high, which is due to the Transistor. My problem is that when I turn the AC on (Push Switch in), the Blower stops working. Would that be because of the bad Transistor?. Thanks in advance.
