Meguiar's Ultimate Black Plastic Restorer has been the best I've found.
I dumped a ton of it on my spoiler and let it sit for like a week.
It actually feels like it brought flexibility back to the spoiler where the back-to-black products, at least to my feel made it seem more brittle.

I have an E9 that would be perfect in. too bad I'm so far away, even though the cost of going through it would make the shipping look cheap

Soon...all that will be left is installing the stereo and new speakers. Thinking the VDO TR712UB-BUK head unit. The Continental with orange light seems more period correct but I kind like the VDO blue After 4 years of crawling through this car, the only bad spot was the lower passenger quarter. soon...

Adding to the mix. Staggered 17" (35&40 profile tires) lower H&R springs. Also B8 shocks and heavier torsion bars. To me it still seems a little soft but at 80+ heading for Las Vegas, the ride was pretty nice.

Nice...I'll remember the Dr. Vinyl tip. I'm betting the patch and spray will age to unnoticeable. As soon as mine comes home from paint I'm putting ceramic UV window film on. It took forever to get rid of the sunburned plastic smell and there's no way I want it back. PS the 888's look great on the car

keeping the single-row chain turned into a bit of pain but I scored a set of double-wound valve springs and went for it.
The only BMW pistons I found were superseded to s38 US spec. CP made a set to match the original euro spec...25% lighter was a plus

LMAO, amazing what someone can overlook when they want to but at least you have a starting point to learn from. Now go see what the cca ads to the cost of crude, how its helped limit refinery capacity expansion to far less than the increase in demand then maybe get back to your statement on oil pro...

Re: President Donald J Trump makes history...
LOL, just because your original numbers don't substantiate your claim, doesn't mean you get to change them and don't forget that domestic offshore leases are at 18.5%. So even using the lower number of 12.5%, taxes and regs are responsible for over 40% of what you pay for gas at the pump. CYA Once ...

Re: President Donald J Trump makes history...
I never said regulation stopped with crude. Like you say it also adds cost at the refineries and in distribution. By the time gas get to your tank, regulation and tax have added to the plus side of 40% to the cost of what goes in your tank. Think about it, using your numbers, add 12.5% for leases p...

Re: President Donald J Trump makes history...
You have a very low standard of proof as the rest of what you list has to do with gasoline, not crude. Uh yea, because we've been talking about gasoline and the impact of crude on its price. LMFAO...so you're sayin regulation has no impact on the price of crude....btw we started out on oil leases, ...

Re: President Donald J Trump makes history...
You keep saying regulation is 40% on crude despite my showing you that simply isn't true. I get your blind hatred of Biden is blinding you to facts, but here is the breakdown per the EIA for a gallon of gas in 2021: Refining costs and profits - 14.4% Distribution and marketing: 15.6% Federal and St...

Re: President Donald J Trump makes history...
biden's biggest interest is biden and if his 50 years in government haven't proven that to you, I can't help. Unfortunately, the cost of oil has nothing to do with my beliefs on joe biden....You still overlook the impact of regulation/tax on the price of crude and yes 40% on crude. As for pumping mo...
