Re: Remove centre console panel
It’s not easy to get that panel out. You have to remove the whole console, like in the picture. But, you can easily replace the cig lighter unit without removing the panel. Just lift off the shift boot, and you can reach under and get behind the cig lighter unit and push it out. (That applies to th...

Re: Remove centre console panel

Remove centre console panel
Does anyone know if this plastic panel comes out separately and easily? If so, what's the best technique?
I'm just trying to secure a USB in place of the cig-lighter...

Re: Bilstein & H&R Parts - What is correct?
On my '86 635 (goldie): I am running B8s with BAV springs (very similar to the H&Rs) and very satisfied with the ride. On my '84 M635 (pumpkin): I am running B8s with H&R springs and also very satisfied with the ride. B8 rear shocks have a c-clip on the body where you can adjust the height ...

@brucey & @Ron Hi. Rather than start a new thread I'm intrigued if your experiences are anyway connected to what I'm experiencing - I recently drove the car ('89 RHD, Highline) back from the Cotswolds to London, on coming through town in light traffic I noticed the brake pedal softening to an m...

Just looking at the site and the velcro tubing will definitely do the job. I am calling them first thing tomor...

Re: Bilstein B8 shock question (spring perch/groove)
also.... the stock bump stops have grooves in at the top; these are to allow any air trapped between the shock shaft and the bumpstop to escape as the shock compresses.
