The sensor I ordered from eBay was alright, although the mechanic had to make some minor alterations to mount it. Once again, the part number is 0 265 001 058 and cost me 180 NZD including shipping to NZ (around 122USD/93GBP). There are a few more available on eBay, so might be a good time to stock ...

For now, I've ordered this part from eBay UK:
Genuine Bosch 0265001058 ABS Speed Sensor Front/Left 34521155037 34521178981 WS1
